Reservations were easy. We were seated at a nice table. Served right away - once we had to wait for a drink - other than that pretty attentive. Very well kept restaurant - clean - attractive interior - at times we were very warm - breeze would come from behind us occasionally - think from the kitchen! Final bill was... More

Early autumn. Sat on heated outside patio watching the world pass by. Great welcome and service. Delicious food including tasting for first time White Salmon. Went twice out of three nights in Whistler. The Barman, Bob, is ok.

We had dinner at this nice restaurant. Service was great and both our starters were excellent. However the pasta dishes, Lasagne and Gnocchi were both a let-down. Lasagne was very dry and there was far too much pasta and hardly any sauce. The Gnocchi were a little bland, the Mozzarella that was part of the dish was cheap, like chewing... More

I've honestly paid 1/3 the price I paid at this joint, and have had much tastier food. The bread came out, and 20 seconds later the food was out. We had no chance to enjoy the bread and chat with each other. There are much nicer places to eat in Whistler for the same price.

Superb food, wonderful ambiance, top notch service. It was late August, the evenings were a bit chilly but with propane heaters and soft blankets it was a pleasure to eat on the patio. Pace of dinner was good and relaxed and our meals were delivered hot. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back next time in BC.

We just returned from three weeks in Italy and I'd find it hard to say anyone of the great places we ate at could come close to topping Caminetto! Great food, service and atmosphere. And the prices are far below anything you will find in Rome!

Great service, our waitress also spoke French. The restaurant manager was great. The food was very good, with great salads and great pasta and meats. The clams pasta was very good, the beef fillet was so tender. Great choice of wines

Nice to find a serious restaurant in frivolous Whistler. My wife and I stumbled across the place - we enjoyed eating indoors, in the unpretentiously Italian decor, although the patio was perhaps more obviously inviting. I had what was probably the best risotto I have tasted in my life. The service was smart and professional in a town where much... More

4 of us had a fabulous dinner last night at Umbertos in Whistler Village. We were lucky enough to have a great table on their patio....perfect for people watching and kept very comfortable with outdoor heaters. Our waiter was fantastic - personable and attentive, yet not intrusive. We had the tuna tartare, beef carpaccio and prosciutto/melon appetizers and they were... More

Came up for the night with my wife and had a great dinner on the patio. We were greeted very nicely by the ladies up front and taken to our spot for the night. The server and manager were very attentive and provided great service. Food was perfectly prepared as expected. Of course the price is high but you get... More
