Have eaten here on both our visits to Whistler and the food cannot be faulted but it is not a cheap place to eat and I recall the wines being very expensive They say you get what you pay for and that is true of this place but it can do serious damage to your wallet. more

Great food, great service but only as a treat as this is a more expensive than average restaurant. Only complaint - on arrival back to the UK we've reviewed our credit card bill and see that the restaurant charged us £420 GBP for a $120 C$ meal. Keep your receipts!!! more

I have been here a few times during the winter season. It is normally fairly busy but the food and service are very good. My girlfriend is a HUGE fan of the fish cakes! It is not the cheapest place in the world but when we have been the pound to dollar conversion has made it not too bad more

Expensive alert! Came here due to the great reviews on the internet website and was very very disappointed. Service was horrible. Our waitress was rude, arrogant and very unfriendly. I have never been to a Hy's and was going to avoid it as it was a chain. However this was one of my best meals in Whistler and a world class steakhouse. more

Hy's is off the main village stroll in Whistler (just off a side street by the Delta Village Suites)- so you need to know it's there, which in our opinion added to the great atmosphere as few people would have just wondered in- most would have been there on recommendation.
