Great food

A great place to stop for lunch during your skiing day. Pizza and salad was really nice but the highlight was their cinnamon buns! Have to be tried!

Having being stunned by the massive queues at the Roundhouse on our first day at Whistler in mid March, we were so glad to find Chic Pea just a short ski away. Managed to get a seat/table straight away, without a fight! A good menu with soups, hot sandwiches and hot dishes. The Moroccan Stew is highly recommend.

Great soups and friendly staff. Pleasant barbeque "sometimes". Birds are quite tame and fun for kids to feed. A bit of tranquility very different from the factory cafeterias at the Roundhouse and Rendezvous..

We got tired of the obvious, larger mountain restaurants on Whistler so headed for Chic Pea. This place is much smaller than the likes of the Roundhouse, but still gets really busy at around 12 ish. We got there at 13:15 and it was much quieter. It's not cheap, but mountain food never is. We paid 22 dollars for 2... More

A typical slope side eatery, noisy and packed at one o clock, bu go a little later and it's easier on the ears!! On a sunny day sit outside and enjoy the sunshine and the cheeky "whisky jacks" ( birds to the uninitiated) who will come and take food from your hands if you feel so inclined - and the... More

A Whistler must! Stop by this hut just below Roundhouse Lodge and pick up a cream cheese covered cinnamon roll. Simply delicious! We'll be back soon 😊.

This is a must go to spot! In my opinion the best Cinnamon buns on the planet!!!!!! They also serve a great Mac & Cheese. If you on the hill go there.

We didn't actually eat here but feel I have to review the Chic Pea because we called in every day for a drink at about 11.15am! During this time we did see the food consumed by various other skiers and the broths in particular looked delicious. Very pleasant environment and a welcome stop on the hill.

Stop here for an 11am coffee break while it's still reasonably quiet and have one of the home made cinnamon and cream cheese buns- they are to die for! Also had a Moroccan beef chick pea stew for lunch on another day and it was really lovely. Good place for a change from the bigger crowded lunch stops.

Don't bother with the crowds at the Roundhouse just take Upper Whiskey Jack run from there for a short distance to the Chic Pea. Its small but much cosier than the larger mountain eateries and can get a bit crowded at times but it is well worth it. The quality of the food is far better (and probably cheaper), the... More
