A Mediterranean flavour featuring toasted signature sandwiches, pizza, a great outdoor BBQ, and a fabulous place for people watching. Located on Upper Whiski Jack on Whistler Mountain. Ski down from the top of the Garbanzo Chair, or soar on down from the top of the Whistler Village Gondola. Either way, this is a must do when skiing and riding on Whistler Mountain.

Great home baked cinnamon buns!

Stop here for an 11am coffee break while it's still reasonably quiet and have one of the home made cinnamon and cream cheese buns- they are to die for! Also had a Moroccan beef chick pea stew for lunch on another day and it was really lovely. Good place for a change from the bigger crowded lunch... read more

Don't bother with the crowds at the Roundhouse just take Upper Whiskey Jack run from there for a short distance to the Chic Pea. Its small but much cosier than the larger mountain eateries and can get a bit crowded at times but it is well worth it. The quality of the food is far better (and probably cheaper), the... More

Having seen the mass-produced food, poor service and multitude of queues at Roundhouse we sought advice from our instructor on somewhere else to eat. Rad, who is an exceptional instructor, recommended Chic Pea. The turkey wrap with salad were the highlight. Followed up by the beef chilli. Hot chocolate was great one day but over-sugared the next.

Really tasty soups and stews, very reasonable prices and quick service - perfect for a lunch stop. Recommend the chick pea stew and the chowder. Easy to get a table both times we've been although you can also sit outside weather permitting.

We love this hidden gem! Situated on Whistler at an intersection of runs (if you go too fast, you'll miss it). This little place has by far the best food on the mountain. It's a small seating area so you'll have to be patient or just ask to join others at their table.

Really liked the position and the food at this place. Also a little smaller than those massive places so felt more personal. Only reason for 4 stars was family complained that it was cold, I didn't feel it but then I generally run hot. Those big daft cinnamon buns were great.

You can stop here at the end of the Upper Whiskey Jack, or at the top of the Garbonzo Lift. It was a decent break from skiing to warm yourself up, but when we came the place was packed. Luckily, we got a seat, and it probably wouldn't be too hard to get one on a normal day.

The warm cinnamon scrolls at Chic Pea Hut on Whistler Mountain are awesome!! Just what you need after a few ski runs on the mountain. We also tried their soup in a bread bowl one day for lunch - yummo! Good job guys!

I have been sliding in to Chic Pea ever since it opened years ago. As you see in other reviews this is a small slopeside café on Whistler mountain not to far below the top of the main gondola. You must ski to this location. I often stop in for their special ooey gooey cinnamon special - yum. I have... More

Visited whilst on ski holiday in Whistler Creekside. This little stop has great food plenty of choice and is easy to get to either from top of Garbanzo chair or down from the Roundhouse and Peak to Peak Gondola on Whistler mountain. Close to Whiskey Jack slopes which are great for learners to ski on. The staff were great providing... More
