We dined here last week with our son and his partner for my birthday. We all loved the food and ambience of the restaurant. We decided to share a plate of oysters as a small tasting before our appetisers, they were excellent as were our other courses. They also have an extensive wine list. We would have loved to dine... I went with my friends to do a 5 course meal for the between season deal Araxi was offering in November 2014. The service was excellent and so was the food. The hostess took our jackets and hung them for us, and the server was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu options. Excellent choice for a more upscale dining... More

Amazing dinner experience. Best food of the trip. Looks and feels upscale but very comfortable and friendly. Love Samantha the sommelier.

We had a fantastic dinner with the best service! Our waiter Louie made great recommendations and gave some of the best suggestions to pair food and drink. Prices may seem a bit high, but you definitely get what you pay for with the quality of food, drinks, and service.

Our last visit during the fall saw a packed restaurant when many of the other local restaurants were either closed or slow. Araxi has the formula down pat with excellent menu choice and value for money. It's easy to see why they don't experience a 'shoulder season' here. Service was attentive, food arrived promptly and was beautifully presented and there... More

Convenient location, not as formal as you might think, worth changing out of the ski wear, though. Efficient, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Rabbit was good especially the sausage, gnocchi was a modern interpretation perhaps a little rubbery for me but I'm being picky. "Bavarois" was good, perhaps a bit less of the layered cake with a bit more of the... More

Great experience - several plates of freshly shucked lake oysters (20) chilled and beautifully presented - with quality champagnes and local BC white wines - if friends - what a great way to come off the mountain and 'chill' 😜⛄️

Everything was professionally done, from the front of house meet and greet, to the recommendations which proved spot on, to some of the most delicious food we have eaten in the world. Great vibe and a wonderful evening.

Our waiter was knowledgeable and personable. Excellent food- possibly the best oysters I've had. Nice wine list. My wife and I almost always split an entree, which is not always well received. We had no issues here, as both our salad and entree were kitchen split with the beautiful presentation fully intact. The only negative that I can think of... More

We dined here on our skiing holiday March 2014 and I can't fault it. The food was sophisticated, perfectly cooked and presented beautifully. My only regret is wussing out of ordering oysters for a starter, although my smoked salmon was fantastic as well. It's on the pricier side, but the quality matches up.
