My husband and I came for lunch here last summer, everything was amazing, and its in such a great location in Whistler. everything from the wine, appetizer, main course and the best melt in your mouth black forest cake I have ever had! I am actually not much of a fan of black forest cake, my husband wanted to order... More

Right in the Center of village, with live music in across, relaxing atmosphere soothed our long drive from Kamloops. We ordered two entree, sweet corn basil soup and Vancouver island octopus chirashi. Were skeptical about how they would prepare this typical Japanese entree. We were wowed. The main were wild prawn risotto, and beef tenderloin. Definitely expensive but definitely worth... More

We went to Araxi with another couple and had one of the best meals I've had in years. We started with raw oysters and took the waitress recommendation on which varieties. They were so delicious that we ended up ordering three dozen and trying every kind on the menu. Next we had two types of sushi rolls that were outstanding.... More

A couple of years ago we hit Whistler and ate at Araxi's as a random pick. It was a great experience and when we visited Whistler again this weekend I thought we'd give it another try to see it was good as I remember. The wine list is amazing and we had a great BC pinot gris to start. The... More

The service was warm and friendly on both occasions we dined there and the restaurant has an excellent location, situated as it is on the square so one has a lively view of Whistler and it's visitors. The food while not exceptional represented in our opinion very good value. Would definitely recommend it.

If you don't want to drive to Rim Rock, this is the place to each. Great service. Wonderful location in the Village. Great atmosphere. You can't miss here, just be willing to spend a little dough.

They made us waiting for 30 minutes eventhough they were many tables available. We ordered fish taco and burger. Burger was average, nothing exceptional. Taco was a bit better.

We just had an amazing dinner here! The food was outstanding and the service was impeccable. Our server gave excellent recommendations and what he offered were excellent menu items. We had the tuna as an appetizer and they were delicious. They came with bacon jam made in house that finished off the dish perfectly. I had the shrimp, roasted chicken... More

So after reading reviews on open table I really wanted to try Araxi. I was comparing it to another notable restaurant in the village and was hoping it lived up to the hype. When we first got there the hostess was extremely flustered and the frustration was very evident. We were told that the wait was an hour which was... More

Yes, this is a very popular restaurant because it is an excellent establishment; therefore, it is often booked-up. So, if you arrive without a reservation, be prepared to wait in the wonderfully stocked bar area - you will be served by very professional and friendly bartenders. Once you are seated, you will be given a menu and wine list that... More
