Extremely disappointing! Don't bother going. Steak was hard to cut and tough and chewy. Ordered medium rare and got medium well done.

Clearly this is place that is for people with more Money than brains. It does boast a large wine cellar of extremely over priced wines. If you like a $44 piece of shoe leather order the Ranch New York steak.

I`ll be short and sweet! I came in on a busy Friday night. I did not wait for a table, ate beautiful oysters, drank amazing wine. Was seated promptly in the lounge. Ordered super fresh seafood dishes, game, more wine! Awesome! Loved it all! No buts about it! I then went through a personally embarrassing situation in which I was... More

8 of us went to araxi after visiting the black comb mountain... We got the table in about 5 minutes.. The ambience was very elegant and gave the look of a Michelin star restaurant.(not sure if it was one though).. The food was very costly.. But the flavor did justice to the cost.. My new York T bone steak was... More

After reading the reviews we booked for dinner, I have to say I was slightly disappointed. I had rabbit but i didn't get the rabbit flavour & I know it's a ski resort, but it is fine dining, so I found the portions quite large. The wines were horribly overpriced but I suppose that's restaurant snobbery yet again!! On the... More

The servings are not large but I prefer that as long as the quality is there. If you want quality versus volume, I recommend this one!

Araxi is our favorite Whistler restaurant. Their oyster bar is fantastic (my favorites Kumamoto and Kushiro), and their dining options are varied and top notch. Also very nice wine list.

Went with some friends for the $33 5 course menu they do on the shoulder seasons. Overall it was a good experience, food was fantastic and plentiful so don't fill up on the great bread they give you at the start. The waiter was ok but not of the high standard that I would expect from such a high end... More

I was recommended this restaurant by friends, the food was beautiful, light, elegant, and even though I don't eat oysters the rest of my table found them delicious. The bill wasn't as expensive as I thought the food is worth the price. I am going back to whistler this year in February and will be eating here again.

We had a great experience here on holiday. Our waiter Sam was the best service we've had, friendly and couldnt do more to please us. I had some good sushi and others oysters to start, Waygu beef special was extremely tender, fantastic Scallop dish, and amazing chocolate sphere dessert which was mentioned by 2 of our group as the best...
