One of the few places where taste & presentation and service match up with the prices. It's our treat to ourselves when we go to Whistler. Had a multi choice separate vegetarian menu by request. Mushroom risotto one of the best I've had. Friends were pleased with the tuna nicoise & steaks. We shared donuts and chocolate fondant which were... More

Dined here with a close friend and chose to have a few starters rather than main courses. The menu is very seafood oriented, with only a few other options. Pricing is what your would expect for such a fine establishment. However, as nice as the waiter was, I absolutely despise being continually interrupted during a meal. I find it unprofessional... This was one of the best meals we have had in a while - the service was excellent and the food was gorgeous. I had the oyster starter which was divine. The place was packed and the atmosphere was excellent. Ok, it's not cheap but it was a great evening - recommended!

After hearing many rave reviews, we recently dined at Araxi for the first time. It was one of the best meals we've had in a long time and we really can't find a single thing to fault them for. The service was impeccable from the moment we walked in the door to the moment we left. We started off with... More

We went to Araxi the night before my husband's 65th birthday. We happened to mention this to the receptionist as an aside. Well, after a delicious meal and a great wine recommended by the sommelier, the server delivered a beautiful plate of desserts with "Happy 65th birthday" written I chocolate and a candle. We were so surprised and delighted by... More

This was our second time to Araxi and it was just as good the second time around. We started with a cheese plate (even though it is on the dessert menu) and the 3 cheeses were delicious when paired with the tasty crostinis. My NY steak was a perfect medium and I loved the blue cheese and herb butter on... More

Had dinner out every night on our 8 day stay in Whistler. Araxi was one of the best. Will be back next time.

About the classiest restaurant in Whistler, but you don't need to dress up specially. If you like big and busy( and noisy) sit in the main area; if you want peace and relative quiet, go to the "Wine Room" at the back, where there are four or five tables. The service was professional, politely friendly, generally excellent. I enjoyed my... More

We dined at Araxi on our last night at Whistler, and I don't think I've had such efficient service anywhere. If anything, it was too rapid: we arrived at 5.30pm and were out before 7pm after 3 courses! Also, I'd only just had a chance to order the wine when the starter turned up - fortunately, the waiter was back... More
