The culinary cornerstone in the heart of Whistler Village, Araxi enjoys a long-held international reputation for excellence in food, wine and hospitality. Executive Chef James Walt celebrates carefully sourced local ingredients from nearby Pemberton Valley farms, where he collaborates frequently with local growers. His seasonally rotating menus also feature the freshest seafood catches direct from the Pacific Ocean. The dining room resonates with lively ambiance enhanced with fresh flowers and original works of art. The adjoining Bar is the mountain’s popular gathering place for locals and visitors, and in the summer season the patio is the nexus of Whistler’s village life, wrapped by stunning mountain vistas. This place is amazing.

We went here for our five year anniversary dinner and my husband and I were simply blown away. If you have a reason to splurge in Whistler do it here. We enjoyed our meal at Araxi although we did think that it was quite expensive even though we choose the 4 course special for $40 plus a beef supplement of $12. Each course was very nice. Service was very good.

Nice variety of menu items. Many kinds of fresh oysters. Fresh salmon was good. Outdoor patio is nice in the Herat of the village.

We were only able to get a later table for 9:30 the day-of so we had pre-drinks at the pub across the way. We had the 5-course dinner for $33 each. I loved that we had a variety to choose from. I'm a pescatarian, and usually 5-course meals don't give you much choice if they ARE pre-fixed, so I was... More

Excellent service, very professional. Food, very fresh and creative Combinations and flavors. Although it is expensive, truly a dining experience. Enjoyed triple seafood small plate and salad nicoise. Very good local BC wines. Would recommend.

We got really lucky by being here during shoulder season where we were able to take advantage of their 3 course meal for $40! Great craft cocktails and beautiful foot that is multidimensional without being fussy. Our server was lovely as well. No surprise its touted as being one of the best restaurants in Canada!

Contrary to some reviews I had read the service given to us was first class. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the food being served and was extremely helpful when it came to choosing wines. The food served was well presented and consistently of a high standard. We were not able to dine outside because it was raining, but there is... More

Wonderful serving staff, sunny patio table, delicious food. She had raw oysters with a piquant chopped daikon lemon red vinaigrette side sauce, while I had very fresh, perfectly toasted Croque Misseur and fries. Our waitress "Paula" was a sweetheart, fast with our service, relaxed for some small talk. OK, the carafe of wine was delicious too! Lovely spot for people... More

Excellent service, excellent food. Sommelier was great, can't wait to go back. What else is there to say other than choose the multi course menu of the day.

This was the second time myself and my husband dined at this restaurant. Both times we're superb. We ordered the three course meal and we weren't disappointed. Everything came out delicious and presented very excellent. The meat course I had was cooked to my liking and the flavour was superb. I would highly recommend this place if you ever visit... More
