My boyfriend and I visited Araxi in June 2013 - WOW is all I can say. The food was just so incredibly delicious and delightful, it will be a meal I will remember for years. Everything was perfect - from the service, to ambiance, to the value, to the food (!!!), just everything. I highly recommend this restaurant. I had...

Had read glowing reviews so went here while in Whistler for our wedding anniversary. We were not disappointed and can say nothing critical about this restaurant. We arrived without reservations and were still promptly seated. Our server (Michael) was great, answering questions with obvious knowledge, and without a hint of superiority that you too often find in top end establishments....

Dropped by without reservation and was sat in the bar area. The menu looks somewhat dated and nothing really jumped out at us. We ended up ordering raw seafood and sushi. Was Oysters were excellent but sushi and sashimi was so-so.
When we left, the restaurant was still mostly empty. Wondered why they dis not sit us in the dinning...

Visiting Araxi is an 'experience' no one should miss while in Whistler. Food was simply amazing! Eloquently placed, interesting design and all with very fresh produce and great flavour. Food you'll remember forever. Good wines too. The service was simply fantastic! The best restaraunt we went to on our Canada trip and to be honest of all the restaraunts we...

Pre race dinner at Araxi, not your standard carbo loading fare , but succulent lamb for me and salmon for my wife. Buffalo mozzarella salad to start and five cheese pâté to share for dessert. Top notch service, a shared bottle of BC wine...who needs pasta! Five star experience, start to finish.
Martini mixology at Araxi bar is a lost art - and the Vesper is world class! We were drawn in by the $10/dozen Oyster special and we stayed on leisurely sipping and eating the afternoon away whilst watching the village activities from the clandestine bar windows.
Very nice...I had the Haida Gwai halibut, my wife had a 6 ounce steak which was one of the best I've ever eaten (we share). The server was one of the best I've seen. Expert on wine and she steered us to a really nice riesling. They have a fantastic wine list. First class experience and well worth it...great staff...loved...

My sister told me that the Chef at ARAXI was trained by Gordon Ramsay, so going there, I was already on high expectation.. I was WOWed by the food... my order was Fresh Oysters, Risotto with Prawn and Scallop, and Canadian Cheese Plater... Everything was soo good and beautifully presented.. In fact everybody in our party finished their food, nothing...
