Description: In its 23rd year, the Rimrock Café has delighted diners with its innovative, fresh cuisine and emphasis on the finest fish and game, artfully prepared with inventiveness and flair. The restaurant is consistently recognized as a local’s favorite for atmosphere, service and a sublime eating experience. Behind the large glass window of our lit cellar, all manner of wines from the glamorous and recognizable to the intriguing and new seem to hum seductively. Two fireplaces cast an ambient glow over the chatter and energy of our rustic dining room. In summer, enjoy your meal on a sunny patio. The seafood antipasto for two is the perfect start to your meal. Stunning presentation meets succulent, vibrant flavor among the six exquisite tasters. Try our Venison tenderloin, served with a porcini cream and homemade spatzle. For the seafood lover, our main course Trio is a harmony of seared Ahi, nut crusted Sablefish and grilled prawns. Complete your meal with Whistler's favorite desert.

I booked this restaurant after checking restaurants in Whistler on Trip Advisor. It was my husband's birthday so wanted something special. I also wanted a treat for NZ and UK relatives who were visiting. Our waiter was very accommodating with all our various drink orders! Our various meals were all delicious. The restaurant is down the highway a little -... More

We ate in Rim Rock twice and it was very good. Solid rustic cuisine. Excellent smoked halibut appetizer. And the main courses were excellent. Both the venison and the halibut. Very tasty dessert of sticky toffee pudding

Rimrock consistently delivers an outstanding dining experience, from the innovative cuisine to the polished, professional service. This is a special occasion kind of place. I would think special occasion implies dressing up, at least, somewhat for the night out that warrants such a spectacular dining experience, but I found some of the diners turning up for dinner looking too casual,... We dined here for our first anniversary dinner & our first time visiting Whistler, and it blew our expectations out of the water. Excellent service, the $45 per person four course fall special was a nice unexpected touch, the ambience was perfect (not a tourist vibe). We loved that it was off the beaten path a bit and not in... My wife and I had the $45 course and it was out of this world!! Rim Rock was recommended by the concierge at our hotel and they couldn't have been more spot on. We also tried the Araxi deal but Rim Rock was by far the better. We will be back (and paying full price but it'll be WORTH IT)

We had read the reviews and a local also recommended we dine here. We had a delightful meal with the $45 four-course special.

My husband and I decided to finish off our whistler holiday with a nice meal as the Rim Rock restaurant had advertised a $45 meal deal of 4 courses we decided to go there. I have to say that it was one of the best meals and value for money we have had in Whistler this visit. The staff were... More

The Rim Rock has probably the best food for the money in Whistler! Make sure you order the lobster mash potatoes. Anything on the menu is great. There are other restaurants in town with bigger names, but I've often been disappointed. The menu changes regularly and I always have something new to enjoy here.

We have dined many times at The Rimrock and have always walked away thinking : "what a fabulous place!". Not surprisingly, you are pretty certain to find the owners "on deck" whenever you visit The Rimrock. One of them runs the front of the house while the other leads the kitchen brigade. These are solid hospitality professionals that deliver a... More

This is my son's favourite restaurant in Whistler and after a year he has been to a lot. The service and ambience makes you feel as if you should have dressed up even though there is, as usual in Whistler, no dress code. Both the menu and wine list are extensive and when you have managed to choose, the food... More
