Description: In its 23rd year, the Rimrock Café has delighted diners with its innovative, fresh cuisine and emphasis on the finest fish and game, artfully prepared with inventiveness and flair. The restaurant is consistently recognized as a local’s favorite for atmosphere, service and a sublime eating experience. Behind the large glass window of our lit cellar, all manner of wines from the glamorous and recognizable to the intriguing and new seem to hum seductively. Two fireplaces cast an ambient glow over the chatter and energy of our rustic dining room. In summer, enjoy your meal on a sunny patio. The seafood antipasto for two is the perfect start to your meal. Stunning presentation meets succulent, vibrant flavor among the six exquisite tasters. Try our Venison tenderloin, served with a porcini cream and homemade spatzle. For the seafood lover, our main course Trio is a harmony of seared Ahi, nut crusted Sablefish and grilled prawns. Complete your meal with Whistler's favorite desert.

Continuing our gastronomic tour of the Canadian Rockies, this restaurant was a must see. We were not disappointed. The choice of starter and mains was excellent, albeit we opted for the main when we saw the size of portions. Had four different mains between us: mixed grill, fillet of beef, 3 fish special and wild salmon. All dishes were cooked... More

We have been to Rim Rock several times over the years, we make sure to plan one special dinner there every time we visit Whistler. It is one of my favorite restaurants ever, great food, but not pretentious. They do a four course special a couple times a year and it is a fantastic bargain. Some of my favorite things... More

Food is amazing, service the best - Shelly was tops. Wine list gave us good options without breaking the bank. Make a reservation, they seem to be packed every time we go.

We have been coming up to Whistler for several years yet, for some reason, never made it to this restaurant. Because it was our anniversary, I searched tripadvisor for a special restaurant that we had not tried. Up came Rim Rock at the top of the list. Bottom line: It deserves to be at the top. Every course was truly... More

Fantastic menu and great service. I wanted to try oysters for the 1st time and the server was very helpful with my choice. I had 4 oysters some raw and some broiled and they were all delicious and only cost $2.50 each. I then had a 5oz fillet steak with trimmings and a mojito cocktail, no sweet as i was... More

Great food. Oysters are good. Don't get the raw one with cream freche though. Other than that try whatever. The salba with crunchy almonds is amazing. The mustard sauce on the seared tuna is much better than the Terriyaki sauce and the salmon is good, but the fact that it comes with the lobster mashed potatoes is even better. For... More

Had the sampler plate with Venison, Steak, Lamb Chops and Duck and it was the most delicious game meal I have ever had. Small and perfect intimate restaurant. Had a great time with friends and they make some great martinis. The desert sampler is to die for so don't miss out.

Two of us were on a road trip and with both TA and our B&B recommended the Rim Rock, we felt we had to give it a try. It was a Monday night so reservations was not required. I had the 3 fish special and it was perfect as was the service. My riding partner had the salmon and also... More

Wow! This lovely cafe is just a short drive outside the main village, but well worth the drive. It is a bit deceptive from the outside as it looks rather small and ho-hum, but the food. Oh my goodness, the food was fantastic! We were travelling with another couple and everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. Save room for... More
