Description: In its 23rd year, the Rimrock Café has delighted diners with its innovative, fresh cuisine and emphasis on the finest fish and game, artfully prepared with inventiveness and flair. The restaurant is consistently recognized as a local’s favorite for atmosphere, service and a sublime eating experience. Behind the large glass window of our lit cellar, all manner of wines from the glamorous and recognizable to the intriguing and new seem to hum seductively. Two fireplaces cast an ambient glow over the chatter and energy of our rustic dining room. In summer, enjoy your meal on a sunny patio. The seafood antipasto for two is the perfect start to your meal. Stunning presentation meets succulent, vibrant flavor among the six exquisite tasters. Try our Venison tenderloin, served with a porcini cream and homemade spatzle. For the seafood lover, our main course Trio is a harmony of seared Ahi, nut crusted Sablefish and grilled prawns. Complete your meal with Whistler's favorite desert.

Agee 100% with MoandOh's comments. We are locals and have been going to the Rimrock every now and again for over 25 years. Never been disappointed. One can't fault the food, top quality ingredients and superbly prepared. A creative menu, well presented (you eat with your eyes as well!) and quite delicious. Wine selection is also top quality, if costly.... More

We went here expecting a good meal, but after having some less than stellar meals on our trip to Canada, we didn't expect to be overwhelmed. We were wrong! We had the fantastic four-course meal at fixed price, and each course was fantastic. So often our experience has been that the first course wows you and it's downhill from there... More

We had heard about the Rim Rock Cafe while visiting Whistler; #1 restaurant in Whistler and #5 best restaurant in North America!! With ratings like that, we had to give it a try. Luckily for us, we happened to go in September during their low season when they were offering a 4 course meal for $45 per person. What an... More

We went with friends for the first time and it was beyond excellent. Great ambience, excellent service and exceptional food ( we had a three fish special ). Would definitely return if we go back to Whistler and highly recommend this place.

One of the best restaurants I've been to in a while. Food was cooked to perfection. Desert could be better. Easy parking. Attentive service. The nicest staff. Ok atmosphere.

Based on reading reviews, we planned to dine here when we visited Whistler at the end of our BC trip. It was the best meal of our trip, and one of the best we have ever had. Do not miss the opportunity to enjoy this restaurant whenever you are in Whistler area! The prices are quite reasonable, the food is... More

As a Whistler local, RimRock is my favourite restaurant to go for a nice sit down, quiet, quality meal. I also previously worked as a Concierge at a 5 Diamond Resort in Whistler for many years and would confidently recommend RimRock to my guests with great success. The lamb is superb. My personal menu items of choice are the oysters... More

Excellent food, service and selection. Gorgonzola salad was terrific, we had 8 people who ordered different meals and all of them raved about the meal. One of the highlights of our trip to Whistler.

From start to finish, everything we had at the Rim Rock was delicious. Great wine selection. The oysters to start set the tone. The venison I had was something special. Tender, juicy , without a gamey taste at all. The rack of lamb = perfect. I can't recommend enough. it's a great atmosphere as well. will be on my list... More
