Description: In its 23rd year, the Rimrock Café has delighted diners with its innovative, fresh cuisine and emphasis on the finest fish and game, artfully prepared with inventiveness and flair. The restaurant is consistently recognized as a local’s favorite for atmosphere, service and a sublime eating experience. Behind the large glass window of our lit cellar, all manner of wines from the glamorous and recognizable to the intriguing and new seem to hum seductively. Two fireplaces cast an ambient glow over the chatter and energy of our rustic dining room. In summer, enjoy your meal on a sunny patio. The seafood antipasto for two is the perfect start to your meal. Stunning presentation meets succulent, vibrant flavor among the six exquisite tasters. Try our Venison tenderloin, served with a porcini cream and homemade spatzle. For the seafood lover, our main course Trio is a harmony of seared Ahi, nut crusted Sablefish and grilled prawns. Complete your meal with Whistler's favorite desert.

Absolutely one of the best restaurants in whistler. Stunning food, service and atmosphere. Get a cab as great wine, lots of choice, expensive but great wine at an average cost can be found within the extensive wine list. Lots of choice for each course and it was all memorable, especially the duck and venison. The ceviche was a little bland... More

Amazing, 4 courses for$49. Lovely place off the strip, well worth the taxi cab ride if you need it. I had antipasto fish, with the ceviche, poke, shrimp, and sablefish. Loved it all except sable fish. The venison for the second course was amazing, salmon special for main course with lobster mashed potato was amazing. Only two options for dessert... More

This place is a hidden gem! It's low key class is what makes the Rim Rock so special and respected. When you arrive you are greeted with a warm welcome as if entering someones home. Upstairs is the dining room; it's comfortable, clean and contemporary. Our server was very polite as well as all of the back up staff. The... More

I enjoyed the food and service so much I came back twice in 1 week. I work in the food industry and suggest that everyone come and try this little piece of heaven. The decor is very much inspired to a true ski town feel and feels very "homey". I would suggest the lobster bisque, very tasty. If you are... More

Amazing. Went in for the 4 course deal. Worth so much more than that. Great service in a comfortable room with the best food hands down in whistler. I had bisque and the venison main. Delicious. I would highly recommend to anyone to dine here. It has been and will continue to be my favourite restaurant in whistler.

Mouth watering deliciousness! It was truly amazing, the food exquisite and the presentation of each dish was just divine! I had heard so much about this place that I did not want my expectations to be too high, but it exceeded every single one of them. Absolutely delicious, the atmosphere perfect. This is definitely a restaurant you have to visit!

I booked this restaurant after checking restaurants in Whistler on Trip Advisor. It was my husband's birthday so wanted something special. I also wanted a treat for NZ and UK relatives who were visiting. Our waiter was very accommodating with all our various drink orders! Our various meals were all delicious. The restaurant is down the highway a little -... More

We ate in Rim Rock twice and it was very good. Solid rustic cuisine. Excellent smoked halibut appetizer. And the main courses were excellent. Both the venison and the halibut. Very tasty dessert of sticky toffee pudding
