In its 23rd year, the Rimrock Café has delighted diners with its innovative, fresh cuisine and emphasis on the finest fish and game, artfully prepared with inventiveness and flair. The restaurant is consistently recognized as a local’s favorite for atmosphere, service and a sublime eating experience. Behind the large glass window of our lit cellar, all manner of wines from the glamorous and recognizable to the intriguing and new seem to hum seductively. Two fireplaces cast an ambient glow over the chatter and energy of our rustic dining room. In summer, enjoy your meal on a sunny patio. The seafood antipasto for two is the perfect start to your meal. Stunning presentation meets succulent, vibrant flavor among the six exquisite tasters. Try our Venison tenderloin, served with a porcini cream and homemade spatzle. For the seafood lover, our main course Trio is a harmony of seared Ahi, nut crusted Sablefish and grilled prawns. Complete your meal with Whistler's favorite desert.

Without question the best meal we've had in Whistler and will forever be a must do when in town. Fabulous starters with recommendations to try the Seafood Antipasto for two. Simple yet elegant menu full of favorite standards and Canadian delicacies such as Elk, Venison and the rib eye I enjoyed was perfectly cooked. Their foie gras is to die for. Their service staff are all 20 year plus veterans who treat you as family in a delightfully friendly yet respectful manner. They remember details and serve promptly. This restaurant... More

Not in the village, so you don't have to contend with parking challenges. Best meal by far while we were in Whistler. The men in our group had the mixed grill -- one with the various game meat selections and one with fish. All of the meats and fish were perfectly prepared and served with fresh steamed vegetables. So flavorful... More

We had a lovely meal at Rim Rock. Beautiful steak and lobster. Meals are a good size. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant, warm and cosy in the winter. The restaurant is a little way out from the village but you can easily get a taxi or else if staying at Westin the shuttle is happy to drive you (complimentary) if... More

This place lived up to the great reviews and they served the best desert I ever had. It was called Sticky Toffee Pudding although the name is misleading. It was actually a more like a spongy cake. Moist with a great taste, it is a must have if you like anything sweet. 5 is too low a rating, but it... More

I travel globally and eat out a lot but very rarely have I experienced such superb food and even better service! If in BC this restaurant south of Whistler just of H99 is a must. As one of the posts said, "believe the hype" This is gem of a resturant that shines above the rest. A suburb setting with indoor and patio setting with a subtle upscale feel. Casual is fine but make no mistake this is dining at its best. Very knowledgable staff with excellnt service. A comprehensive wine menu which allows for wines... More

We were fortunate to be in Whistler in late May and to enjoy the set course menu special that is apparently available at that time of year. It was outstanding. Wonderful food and service.

I was visiting my son in Whistler and I took him out for dinner to the Cafe (he lives close by). It was a hot summer evening and we were seated on the back patio which is very quiet and cosy. Our server, Chantelle, was excellent with just the right combination of friendliness, efficiency and professionalism. She gave us great... More
