In its 23rd year, the Rimrock Café has delighted diners with its innovative, fresh cuisine and emphasis on the finest fish and game, artfully prepared with inventiveness and flair. The restaurant is consistently recognized as a local’s favorite for atmosphere, service and a sublime eating experience. Behind the large glass window of our lit cellar, all manner of wines from the glamorous and recognizable to the intriguing and new seem to hum seductively. Two fireplaces cast an ambient glow over the chatter and energy of our rustic dining room. In summer, enjoy your meal on a sunny patio. The seafood antipasto for two is the perfect start to your meal. Stunning presentation meets succulent, vibrant flavor among the six exquisite tasters. Try our Venison tenderloin, served with a porcini cream and homemade spatzle. For the seafood lover, our main course Trio is a harmony of seared Ahi, nut crusted Sablefish and grilled prawns. Complete your meal with Whistler's favorite desert.

Whistler is very fortunate to have this Gem!

Just so you know where I am coming from, I have been fortunate enough to work in very high end properties world wide and dined in world renoun restaurants. This was the perfect place to wrap up a visit to Whistler. We had the 4 of us head there and splurge on an incredible meal. Basically everything we ordered as first class quality and delicious. It is a palatable haven full of spices, textures and variety. The staff are extremely accommodating and knowledgeable about all the meals and drinks.

We ate here on our last night in Whistler. We were slightly late as our booked taxi didn't turn up, but got a warm and friendly welcome. There were too many yummy things on the menus and then our lovely waitress gave us the specials. But she told us to take our time and brought over our cocktails. The short... More

If you are going to Whistler you must dine at the Rim Rock Cafe. An excellent menu creates a fine dining experience. This is a restaurant that you MUST make a reservation some weeks ahead. You could very well be disappointed if you try and make a reservation when you arrive.

Anyone who lives in Whistler or visits often knows that the Rimrock is top of list for best dinner and friendly servers. I cannot pick out a specific dish to recommend as I like all of them. Desserts too. I often go during their prix fixe dinners where you can choose various items from the menu for a set price.... More

The food was pretty good, but really nothing special, and I guess, I expected much more based on many accolades from past patrons, and considering the size of the bill. Desserts too sweet and unproportionally large. The waiter (tall, early 40ies perhaps) was impersonal and couldn't show less interest. Overall, not bad, but would not be able to honestly recommend... Every year during or annual ski trip we always book a dinner at Rim Rock Cafe. The food is amazing and service wonderful. It never disappoints and is so worth the short drive out of Whistler village. We look forward to our next dinner for the following 11mths of the year!

Went here for dinner on the recommendation of a local. It started out a bit "stuffy" as far as atmosphere, almost like the host felt he needed to appear snooty. However, our server was nice and the food was absolutely outstanding. Excellent wine selection...recommend the Church and State "Quintessential" This wine was a great value at $100 Canadian. Don't be... More
