In its 23rd year, the Rimrock Café has delighted diners with its innovative, fresh cuisine and emphasis on the finest fish and game, artfully prepared with inventiveness and flair. The restaurant is consistently recognized as a local’s favorite for atmosphere, service and a sublime eating experience. Behind the large glass window of our lit cellar, all manner of wines from the glamorous and recognizable to the intriguing and new seem to hum seductively. Two fireplaces cast an ambient glow over the chatter and energy of our rustic dining room. In summer, enjoy your meal on a sunny patio. The seafood antipasto for two is the perfect start to your meal. Stunning presentation meets succulent, vibrant flavor among the six exquisite tasters. Try our Venison tenderloin, served with a porcini cream and homemade spatzle. For the seafood lover, our main course Trio is a harmony of seared Ahi, nut crusted Sablefish and grilled prawns. Complete your meal with Whistler's favorite desert.

Every bit as good as the reviews suggest

Came here to try the spring special. Even with the spring special this was not a cheap night out. The exterior, and even interior are nothing to write home about. But I think that's almost what makes this restaurant, it doesn't need a fancy sign or hyper modern interior to be relevant. Our server... read more

We come to Whistler quite often, and finally made it to the Rim Rock. It was amazing and lived up to the rating. The food and the service were both amazing and I would absolutely recommend the Rim Rock to others!

First you go here, because everybody knows this is one of the best ones in this area, then you try the other ones that are also very good, and if you do have the time, this is the restaurant you repeat. Very good food, sophisticate, complex but unspoiled, intense and delicate. Adequate and sympathetic service. Wine list very good.

Our driver/guide recommended Rim Rock Cafe to our family of 5 and we were really glad that he did. The food was delicious and the 4 course meal at $45 was a great value. Our only regret was that we did not order the sticky toffee pudding which was supposed to be their specialty. Should we have the chance to... More

This restaurant is suited for small group get together, couples, special occasions that can be a little dressed up or casual. We like casual but we felt like we were treated like a king and queen. We did take advantage of the 4 course $45 menu special which was out of this world. The bar choices are wonderful and well... More

Travelling from the UK and our first visit Canada what an excellent first impression we had at Rim Rock cafe. Cannot fault anything, food incredible, service perfect and what a fantastic price for the summer menu. We tried Elk and Bison both new experience for us but tasted great. Save room for the sticky toffee pudding.

Went here recently for a friends birthday. We were a group of 15. They handled our orders all at once with ease. The food was amazing. Fresh local ingredients. A true westcoast feel. As mentioned in another review, when the 4 course menu is on special it is an insane deal. I recommend ordering the skewer of jumbo prawns. They... More

Spring and fall are the best times to be in Whistler for the food. The 4 course $45 menu is such a great deal. The rest of the year expect $40 for a main dish. The food is amazing but the experience is even better. The dinning room is broken up into little nooks there are a few fire places... More

The Rim Rock Cafe is a dining experience that offers a wonderful menu of local cuisine. If you like oysters ...go no further. The place is intimate and hoping all in one. Not to big but big enough. Two dishes that you have to try is the seafood antipasto platter for two and sticky toffee pudding with a latte for... More

We went to Whistler for a special Mothers Day Dinner to visit the Rim Rock Cafe for the 4 course spring special meal. We are a family of true blue foodies and could not have been more impressed. The food was 10 out of 10 each and every course. One tuna dish was cooked too much. The server immediately replaced the dish... More
