Best curry this side of the Atlantic

Comfort food for a Brit who's been over-faced by too much steak and wings. The menu contains no surprises, but all the favourites, really well executed, and very reasonable too. Head and shoulders above any other curry I've had in North America (and I do keep looking!)

This restaurant is on the second floor of the building beside the MarketPlace IGA so it's a little out of sight. We were very glad we tried it though. We had an order of samosas, chicken korma, lamb vindaloo, vegetable biryani and naan bread. Everything was delicious and very flavorful. Service was prompt. Our only minor complaint was that we... I went to Royal Taste of India in last week. I tried shahi paneer, Tikka masala, and Garlic Naan. It was so delicious. I also took Mango Lassi with my meal. Food is awesome. Furthermore, service and atmosphere is also good. I was really impressed with customer service, and I found the environment really friendly. I really enjoyed my meal,... More

Now Im not a massive indian restaurant connoisseur but I often go to the royal raste of india at lunch time to enjoy something different. Everytime i eat there I have tasty food, good portion and at an affordable price. If you manage to get a window seat the view of Whistler/Blackcomb is amazing.

This is the 3rd time I've been here and each time the meal has been excellent. The Kashmir Naan and Eggplant Bhartha are outstanding. The service is great. We both loved each of the several dishes we ate.

We ate here on the first night of our 11 night holiday. The food was fine, service was fine. It was nothing to rave about, just standard Indian food.
