Having come up to Whistler in the summer for a few summers now (mainly for the Gran Fondo), we've been hard pressed to find decent restaurants with reasonable prices. When I stumbled upon Harajuku's website I was pretty intrigued. I checked it out tonight (Friday night). It's a bit hard to find, but if you have a smart phone it's... More

This place is tucked away in whistler village so it was definitely a challenge to find. We were the only table at 6:30 for dinner and it was kind of awkward. The waiter was very nice and more people trickled in as time went on. As for the food, it wasn't bad. Sushi rolls were fresh and not fishy, the... More

It was hard to find this place. We first tried to drive in our car, then went back to our hotel and walked the 10 minute distance (5 minutes, if by car). Away from the noise and buzz of the village, you can just focus on the yummy food. We love the tatami rooms! There was only 1 server when... More

This restaurant is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Whistler's main village but easily walkable from most hotels. It can be mistaken for a hole in the wall from the outside but inside, it's like stepping into old world Japan. The food is very fresh, authentic and tasty. With decent portions, we thought the restaurant was excellent value.... More

Am visiting whistler to stay with my son who is here for the season and he showed me this place on the edge of town. The staff were really friendly. I had the sashimi bowl which was more than I could eat but we had also ordered spring rolls which were great and simply couldn't be left! With a jug... More

We ate here on our first night in Whistler on a recommendation from a local bartender. It had an authentic izakaya feel, cozy atmosphere and a crowd pleasing menu. Great value! The spicy chicken dish was almost like a korean/japanese version of fajitas sans tortillas. Servers were super nice but a little slow. Definitely worth checking out. There's a to-go... More

Everything about our visit was very good..the service was friendly and efficient, the atmosphere was cool, and the food was fantastic and very reasonably priced. The two of us had a feast of several hot dishes plus 4 rolls for $45..in Whistler that is a feat!!!

My friends and I had a craving for sushi, so we looked up all the options in the village and decided on Harajuku Izakaya. We weren't expecting much, but upon walking in we were amazed at the opulent decor and friendly staff. It actually felt like we were right in the heart of Harajuku, Japan, since the interior is designed... More

Everything Boston Pizza is not. Good value, good food, friendly service and a great atmosphere. Harajuku is in a handy location, 2 mins walk from the village bus stop. Inside there is seating around the bar as well as private booths with lighting and sound controls, a great novelty if nothing else! The food is varied and incredibly tasty. Chef... More
