Named for the curvature on the side of a ski or snowboard, Sidecut offers a modern take on traditional mountain cuisine. Situated in the celebrated alpine location of Whistler, the restaurant's sleek wood interior offers an inviting setting where diners can cozy up to the open fireplace or dine on our sun soaked patio. Enjoy dishes such as the Steakhouse "Sushi" Roll, Bourbon Birch Braised Belly of Pork, or prime-aged steakhouse cuts, cooked to perfection and inimitably paired with house-made rubs and signature sauces. Featuring a locally-sourced menu that evolves seasonally, the restaurant's farm- and ocean-to-table influence pays homage to British Columbia's diverse fare. To complement any meal, the extensive wine list features international labels as well as an exclusive selection of B.C.'S premier vintages. Here, steak is more than a meal. It's an experience.

Food is good - service is on the slower side

Ok - we stayed at the Four Seasons so we ate here quite a few times. Breakfast: was included in our room rate. We never ordered off the menu but ate from the buffet. Food was good, enough variety, liked the omelet station. I only wish they had some berries....fruit was melon, peaches...no... read more

I would recommend all guests to seriously reconsider coming to this restaurant, especially if you have to encounter the host/management staff that was working the evening of Aug 29th, 2015. My experience with the Four Seasons hotel group has been excellent thus far over the years. However, something needs to change at this particular restaurant. I made reservation for a... More

Food was decent, but the service and attitude terrible. We arrived early for our dinner reservation only to find out our reservation was given away to another group with the exact same number of attendees and last name. Kind of unbelievable, coupled with the fact that they had apparently called us but wouldn't say what number they called. Small mishap,... More

Very nice setup for a hotel restaurant - great staff making sure that you remember your stay. Food quality is excellent, wine list on the higher end but well balanced. Definitely one of the more expensive places in Whistler but also one of the best for a well prepared piece of meat.

Oder the peaked pie! The Australian import is a crowd pleaser. My children devoured the whole pie in no time.

Excellent service, comfort and cleanliness to start but the food is just outstanding. The chef is not rattled by special requests and will grant extras if he possibly can.

Ate breakfast at sidecut every morning during stay. Love the large coffee mugs with the delicious coffee. Staff always had a smile and went out of their way to make sure we had all that we needed.

We'd had dinner in the 5240 lounge before but had heard great things about the steaks and decided to try it. Everything start to finish was incredible. It was everything you'd expect from a great steakhouse but elevated. The bread was ridiculously good with the buttermilk biscuits and the wellington rolls. We split the alpine salad which was also excellent.... More

Delicious food and great service. The ambience is good --- not great but the food and service made this a five star experience. We had a party of seven but the restaurant had a few round tables that could accommodate up to eight. Round tables are just the best for an enjoyable dinner party. We had three children 6, 9,... 7 of us had dinner there, and it was an overall great experience (largely thanks to the wines). Service was impeccable, the food was good though not great, and the atmosphere was really nice and relaxing. Nice restaurant we'll definitely be visiting again.
