Having visited Sidecut last summer for a few meals we were excited to return this summer. It is still a good choice but there's something missing this year. We have eaten there twice so far and it was good - just not off the hook good. The house made spice rubs and steak sauces are great. All the ingredients are... More

The typical spread of a hotel breakfast buffet for $32/pp. However, kids 5 and under eat free so it was worth it for us, as I can see from the menu that a stack of pancakes would already cost you $21. Service was excellent and very friendly.

Stayed at the Four Seasons and tried their Steakhouse for our anniversary dinner and it was awesome. Great service and beautiful restaurant with both indoor and outdoor fireplace.

I love sitting for a breakfast buffet going back for fruit and coffee and then eggs and sausage. There were lots of servers to keep items filled, and sitting at the Sidecut, viewing the grounds was a pleasure

Atmosphere and lighting were good. Food was excellent! Tasty and warm house-made bread to start. 12 oz. rib-eye steak coated with herbs was done perfectly with crunchy outside and juicy inside. Lobster was also perfect with a good size lobster-tail paired with side dishes of your choice for $8 each. We chose pan-fried mushroom and creamy spinach, both were very... More

Our table was well attended. 11 of us sat down for dinner. Adults and children and a couple of vegetarians. We ordered steaks, the vegetarians had salad ! The menu can be a little involved with the different rubs and sauces, and I ended up keeping it simple. Have to say the steak was excellent. A 20oz bone in new york,... More

We had an especially great meal at Sidecut. The chef (Jean-Pierre) and sommelier (Daniel Liddy) put together a "suprise" 5 course dinner for us complete with wine pairings. We arranged this in advanced so we didn't even have to look at a menu or order anything once we. Each dish was tasty and we were always excited to see what... More

We've eaten regularly at the Sidecut on trips to Whistler. My eldest son orders steak, just steak! No sides, just a black Angus rub, just savours the quality and taste. Highly recommended.

The Sidecut is the restaurant in the four Seasons hotel. My wife and I had dinner where the service was excellent and the steaks were perfectly done. The good/bad was the multiple rubs and sauces that you get to pick from. After staring at all the choices you just want to say give it to me au poivure (not a... More

Wow! It's not easy to destroy Kobe beef, but somehow the Sidecut managed to do just this. Combined with terrible service (they brought all of our meals to our table separately and forgot cutlery) and a dead atmosphere, this place was, once again, a huge and expensive disappointment. While we ate, the staff talked in loud voices about their upcoming... More
