We've eaten regularly at the Sidecut on trips to Whistler. My eldest son orders steak, just steak! No sides, just a black Angus rub, just savours the quality and taste. Highly recommended.

The Sidecut is the restaurant in the four Seasons hotel. My wife and I had dinner where the service was excellent and the steaks were perfectly done. The good/bad was the multiple rubs and sauces that you get to pick from. After staring at all the choices you just want to say give it to me au poivure (not a... More

Wow! It's not easy to destroy Kobe beef, but somehow the Sidecut managed to do just this. Combined with terrible service (they brought all of our meals to our table separately and forgot cutlery) and a dead atmosphere, this place was, once again, a huge and expensive disappointment. While we ate, the staff talked in loud voices about their upcoming... More

Stayed 'in' one night so ate at Sidecut. Food outstanding with prices to match. Not necessarily overpriced for what you get but probably can get close to same quality in village for less.

My wife and I ate there last week while on our honeymoon. I've had many steaks over the years and the NY Strip here was one of the best. Perfectly cooked inside and charred on the outside. The #7 rub gave it a yummy slight southern flavor. My wife also enjoyed her Vegetarian 4 square, especially the salad. The decor... More

My husband and I were really looking forward to dining at this restaurant. Unfortunately, the steak was a real disappointment. Too charred on the outside and not tasty at all. All the different rubs offered are way too confusing. A good steak does not need a rub at all. For the amount of money they charge it was really not... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Sidecut. One of the members of our party had the pork belly appetizers...he rated it as excellent! My husband and I shared a fresh green salad and was enough for 2. We had the steak and was cooked to perfection. We preferred to leave off the sauces and enjoy the meat..which was perfect. We had... More

We went here with my family of 4, myself, husband and our 2 teenage boys. My kids absolutely loved this place!! As did my husband and I, the steaks were the best in Whistler, the service was absolutely outstanding and the dessert was fantastic! Next door is a bar with a live band, the noise level was lively, but not... More

Our 4th trip to Whistler (3rd at the Four Seasons), and our second attempt at Sidecut. Unfortunately, all that is wonderful at both Whistler and the Four Seasons cannot be said about Sidecut. I typically preface my reviews with a comment about myself in order to give the reader some sense of baseline. I am a New Yorker and therefore... More

When on business, I like to save up and splurge for at least one meal on my trips. Given the reviews from other TripAdvisor members and general recommendations from others in Whistler, I decided to try Sidecut with a co-worker who was attending the same conference. First of all, the restaurant carried the theme of amazing service that was evident... More
