We had dinner here a few days ago with our son. The menu is relatively small but everything we ordered was excellent and beautifully served. We shared oysters and a cheese and meat platter as our appetiser and had duck and steak for main courses. The food sounds simple but it's not. The mustard is even made by the chef!... More

Our bill for Araxi and Alta was identical, but our experience at Alta was a poor second. At Alta when we arrived the Host was busy, and although we were acknowledged and told he would just be a few minutes by two of the staff, we stood, jackets in hand for what seemed like about five minutes. We were right... More

I recently dined here for a celebratory meal and it was not the first time I've been to this exquisite gem of an eatery, just off the village stroll two minutes walk from Gap clothing. I have very specific dietary requirements, as I let the kitchen know when I booked the table in advanced and was delighted with the personalised... More

We started off with a couple of cocktails that were on specials. Tasted great and started off with the appetizers. The chefs did a wonderful job - combined ingredients that stimulate and excite our palates. The waiter recommended a tasty BC wine that complemented our main course. Menu is simple but the dishes are not. Finished off with a dessert... More

The unethusiastic greeting was a lead to a disappointing experience. Sitting down and hearing raspy unclear background music just amplified the initial impression. Some of the dishes were very good, some not. The beet salad and duck very good. The Arctic Char was too rare and was left on the plate which did not seem to surprise the waiter. The... More

when you see the size of the kitchen this restaurant operates out of, you can't help but be amazed by the quality of food that comes out of it. Incredible cutting edge cuisine and delicious cocktails. If nothing on the menu appeals to you, just ask and the obliging kitchen will make you something catered to your tastes. Love this... More

Not up to the standard of some of the other restaurants in Whistler but we had a perfectly pleasant meal here. Good option if you're staying nearby and don't want to walk right into the village. But not worth a special trip.

One of the best meals of my life! Fantastic, creative, tasty food. The chef is a damn genius. Elk tartar with choco nibs, are you kidding me? It's outrageously delicious, btw. Go, enjoy, and go again!

We had a lovely meal at Alta Bistro. It's tucked away just off the main drag in Whistler and we had a nice corner seat. The menu was creative and seasonal and the food was fantastic - including a very interesting parsnip bread pudding entree. Lovely wine list and service.

Excellent food, especially the Elk Tar Tar. The restaurant also has a very good wine list to select from as well. The duck was to die for as was the rock cod.
