Great value

This is next to the cinema and the stairs have seen some wear! However don't be put off, we found the service and food to be excellent - iced jugs of water appearing whenever needed. The food is very good value - may not be haute cuisine, but very edible and plenty of it. Locals also seem to use... read more

We had a decent enough meal here, but I cannot get past the horrible stench of over-used grease that permeates the place. I guess that being below ground doesn't help. The odor was so bad, that the clothes we were wearing, and even our hair smelled badly after arriving at our hotel later in the evening. Nestled in the corner... More

This "rathskeller" type place was an unexpected (under the movie theater) and happy find. The mac and cheese special and the shepard's pie were both delicious and the beer was cold. Only quibble - horrible music on the sound system.

This is the type of place that you to at 2 in the morning for nachos and shots, but unfortunately I did not realize this until I bright my family here. The burger was absolutely terrible, and chicken pot pie and practically everything we had was terrible except the nachos. Do not go here if you are looking for a... More

Tucked away downstairs in the centre of Whistler Village sharing space with the cinema Three Below offers the best value for money in the area. Clearly a popular place for locals and workers meant that the atmosphere was friendly and fun. Double spirits were easily the cheapest we found and the nachos were huge for the price. Good place to... More

We stopped by looking for a quite place to eat. You have to go downstairs by the movies to get in but worth every stair down and up. We ate there twice, lasagna, and the meatloaf wrapped in bacon atop great mashed potatoes and veggies. The second time was with the ski group of ten. From tender ribs and chicken... More

We ate here on out last night of a 10 day stay in Whistler, so at this stage we had been eating out a fair amount. We skipped starters and went straight to mains, with two of our party having burgers and myself and my daughter sharing the lasagne and a chicken dish, we ended by sharing the brownie with... More

Beer selection seemed a bit limited. The menu was smallish but everything we had (special pasta, particular) was excellent. It's in a strange place, being in the cinema building, but the value makes it well worth searching it out. Go there after dark, it doesn't matter you are Three Below ground.

I didn't even know this place was here. Is below ground and shares space with the local movie theater. The food was average. I got the chicken pot pie. It had a spice I can't put my finger on, that you don't normally associate with pot pie. The crust was very flaky however and was the best part of this... More

Ideal location for a pre/post movie meal - which is now we heard about it. The hotel had recommended the CAD$20 deal - movie and food - when purchasing our ticket but we forgot! The best way to decribe the food at Three Below as "Pub Food". My lasagne was dry and partially over cooked. Two others in the family... More
