We enjoyed our dinner. The food is simple, but excellent quality. The atmosphere is excellent. it is a large space and on a busy night we were able to get a last minute reservation.

Breakfast buffet is good-dinner is very expensive, average and not much variety. Need to have daily specials.
we haven been for the third time now in the Wildflower, always a favourite in Whistler.
we were not disappointed, very nice meals, and good wines. Only the risotto we had was overcooked and therefore the only maincourse out of line.....The also could not serve all the desertwines listed on the winelist.

The food was very good, solid. We ate here on our 1st night in Whistler and it was a nice way to start the week. Not our best meal, but still very good. My husband was allowed to order from the menu of the other restaurant at the Fairmont since they are connected, so that made him happy as he...

Very good food, but very pricey too. But you do get what you paid for, the man making the omelets was doing working hard and keeping us all entertained.
Whether you're eating à la carte or getting the buffet the food is truly great. The buffet tables go around most of the restaurant so there's plenty to choose from and keep you satisfied. I had the croque madame which was truly delicious. You can also watch people skiing while you dine to that's a nice treat.
Apres ski dining can be crowded, noisy, uncomfortable with a loud soundtrack adding to the discomfort. The answer is flee to the Wildflower with 30 foot ceilings,well-spaced tables in an L-shaped palatial room. Excellent food, especially the prime rib. Smooth, friendly service plus good bar selections.
When we were considering whether to book the Westin or Fairmont Chateau, we listened unfortunately to some Tripadvisor comments that were negatiev about Fairmount and so booked hte Westin. WHAT a MISTAKE. Style and comfort and taste as opposed to a large Box with nowhere to go other than outside the hotel. Yes the location for most things is better...

The room is beautiful. Food was ok, but for the price I expected a bit more. Solid but nothing remarkable.
We visit Whistler at least twice a year sometimes more and each time for the past 5 years (maybe longer since we've discovered he Wild Mushroom Soup) we've been returning for the mushroom soup at the Fairmont (Wildflower and Portobello). This time we were disappointed to find that the soup was replaced with a mediocre squash soup!
I am not...
