I sampled both the tuna tacone and the riff on poutine. Both were yummy. Not quite as delicious as tacofino in Tofino but very good. That being said the lineup was insane and we stood in line for over an hour, so be prepared for a lengthy wait.

If you are visiting or cruising to Victoria save room for this place. Located on the water front near the float planes. Get the fresh salmon and halibut fish and chips. Mouth watering good! The sauces they have are awesome too! The fries are twice fried and so good. You might have to ask to find this place but do... More

First off, this restaurant is basically a food truck without wheels. There are tables outside along the pier, and there is also a covered tented seating area (which I'm really glad we sat under because of all those seagulls!). Staff who take your order are very friendly. We had the chowder (so yummy made with coconut milk) and we tried... More

Went with some friends that were really looking forward to the halibut and chips, my wife and I had cod and chips which was quite tasty but a little greasy, good but not the best fish and chips I have ever had. The line was long and moved slow for some reason, two lines would be a wonderful thing. It... More

We had several friends rave about this place in advance, so maybe our expectations were quite high to begin with. We were warned about the line-ups and indeed that is what we encountered. We ordered the cod and chips. The fish was fresh, but I can't sincerely say it was the best I've had. Next time,i will try the fish... More

The restaurant itself is a small shed with very casual outdoor seating only. It is obviously a very popular restaurant as the line is always there (I could see the line from the balcony of my hotel room at Victoria Regent). My family and I stood in line for about 30 minutes to get fish and chips, and fish taco.... More

As others said, the line is VERY long, and during our 3 day stay, we checked often, at any time during the day, but never lined up (I refuse to wait in line that long for any food, especially when there is so many good restaurants around). On our last day, we we lucky! Almost no line (just before 5pm).... More

I loved the chowder and Red Dog I had. Eating on the dock added to the experience. The line gets very long for a very good reason. I recommend lining up around 11:10 and wait for them to open around 11:30. You'll be served by 11:45. Nice people working their too. Lots of repeat customers in line.
