Fabulous Salmon Tacones

The wild sockeye salmon tacones were so divine that I had to return to enjoy them again. One week in Victoria - 2 visits to Red fish, blue fish. The tacones were overflowing with salmon -- what a deal.

My wife & I stopped by for lunch today. There is always a long line here. It took about 30 minutes to get to the order counter, but well worth the wait. About another 10 minutes until our order was ready. 2 piece halibut & chips was $22. The pieces of fish were large with delicious light batter cooked to... More

Best meal on a wharf one will ever find. The food is outstanding and would not be out of place in a fine dining establishment. The people in the line up are friendly and one hardly notices the wait. The line up is an added endorsement of the quality of the food.

We had super fresh salmon griddled and served with lovely fries, sat on the dockside in the sunshine, what a lovely birthday treat!

There are so many amazing choices of places to eat in Victoria. However this was the only place we had to visit twice in our short stay. My favorite was the Jerk Fish Tacos, 1 is never enough!!

We were told about the eating place from a cab driver. Said if we wanted great fish, we had to look up this place. We found it down on the inner harbor. A small building right on the waterfront. There will be a line but it is so worth the wait. Wonderful wonderful food and atmosphere. If ever in Victoria... More

Was warned this place might have long line, we lucked out with a medium line ... in an unassuming container, down on the pier, but fish 'n chips were great, especially liked the seasoning on the fries.

I warmly recommend this place, probably the best place to have a taste of fresh fish in Victoria. Nice chowder, fish tacos, grilled salmon, fish and chips, so many delicious choices!

when we arrived at this seaside hut there was a long line and we were tempted to leave but i'm so pleased we didn;t. our halibut and chips were delicious - meaty fish, great tasting crispy batter and good sized chips. portion size was great - we ordered 2 pieces of halibut with fries and coleslaw for 22$ and an...
