Very pleasant pub experience!

For a cruisy evening in a traditional pub atmosphere, Irish Times does the trick. Building designed by same architect as Legislature and Empress Hotel - Francis Rattenbury. Old banking hall still intact. Dining inside or out. Small rooms make for intimate dining. Original dark wood and mirrors, etc. Irish-themed menu items. Shepherds Pie very good.

The best guinness I've had outside of Ireland. Staff were friendly and the nachos grand! Live entertainment on weekends and the patio is a great spot for people watching.

The food was scrumptious but I found that the sizes were kinda mediocre. The atmosphere was awesome and I loved the waitresses, all very genuine people. Overall good experience.

Had a great lunch in the busy Irish pub in downtown Victoria. My husband and I both had the IPA flight of beers which was a great selection. My lamb burger was fantastic and my husband enjoyed his bacon and brie burger. He also had a bowl of great seafood chowder. The location and decor is great. Very enjoyable lunch.

On a Friday evening, met a friend for a drink and food at the Irish Times. We were a group of 5. I was happy that the obviously overworked staff were able to get us a table in about 10 minutes, but the place was fully packed with many cruise ship visitors in town for the evening. As a result... We had drinks & dinner here. They serve a flight of IPA beers which my husband really enjoyed. Generous portions. Crab bisque was very good. We missed the live entertainment.

We have been here a few times, pretty much every time we are in Victoria. The beer is great, the atmosphere is spot on and the food is amazing. The only disapointment this time was our server, seemed she was not enjoying her day. We had had a drink and food an intended to have dessert and some more drinks... More
