Description: Welcome to the Irish Times Pub, where excellent design and authenticity are at the heart of downtown Victoria"s most exciting new pub! Located at 1200 Government Street, the Irish Times Pub is home to 190 seats over two floors with 80 seats available on our patios, opening onto both Government Street and historic Bastion Square. Our concept goes far beyond mere architecture though. The Irish Times opened with everything it takes to make a pub successfully Irish, including authentic Live Irish music, 7 nights each week. The tradition of Ireland has also been extended to our menu, which has been developed on a philosophy of creating traditional Irish food and drink that is both contemporary and funky, showcasing Irish Pub Food as you would see in Ireland today.

Recently went with family, so the fact they could accommodate 6 people very easily was great... but the rest was just okay and the final price for what we had was ridiculous. Soggy fish and chips, small portions and way over-priced. We did have a couple yummy drinks and beers, but my Cesar, ordered with "no salt, easy tobasco" ended... More

Yes, a pint of Robert Service Toned-Fired Ale cost $8.25. Are you serious? They appear ro be at Irish Times. The do have an interesting take on poutine involvibg brown sauce and chees, not cheese curds. But what the heck, you just paid $8.25 for a beer :(

A lovely spring evening in Victoria took us to this pub. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the world walking by. We had lousy attitude from the server The steak sandwich was not medium rare as asked. The burger my wife had was just average. The Cesar salad I asked to have without croutons came loaded with them. The... More

Went here with my girl and her sister, it was much larger then I expected but very busy. Still had a great atmosphere, large drink selection (but of course I got an Irish beer), and the service was fast and courteous. There was a live band playing which I thought was a little too loud but good music all the... More

18 of us went for dinner at the Irish times and all of us were very satisfied with our meal. we had reserved in advance and they placed us in the Snug. - a private room - where we could laugh without disturbing others. and laugh we did. we all had such a good time that night and everyone enjoyed... Irish times is wonderful, we love coming in for a pint and some music. Their food is pretty good, though a bit over priced. It's to be expected for the prime location, and amazing atmosphere though. Their daily specials are a great deal, though you have to remember and plan for them since they are around lunch.

From the smile that greeted us, to the beautiful ambiance, from the warm and pleasant atmosphere to the perfect drinks, from the polite and friendly service to the great music....a great overall experience. Drinks are not inexpensive, but our money was very well spent. Would we go back? In an instant! Thanks especially to Kylie, our sweet waitress and to... More

This restaurant is close to the office building we were working in, and offers a nice variety of menu items, although some of them are not very Irish sounding. The fish and chips special was delish, they use snapper not cod as you would expect. Quick service helps when you are in a bit of a rush.

Great selection but extremely pricy drinks with decent pub fare... The staple here is the live music to go along with the irish ambience you almost forget youre racking up a massive bar tab...

The Irish Times Pub is a cool place to sit and have a beer during the day or to sit down for a snack. The Pub has a decent selection of beer, a full bar, TVs with various sports and complete kitchen. The venue itself is awesome with giant chandeliers and beautiful wood detailing. A word of caution for the... More
