Ate here on Saturday night (June 7) with my parents. I had halibut, my dad had "rack of lamb" which was actually three chops, and my mother had tenderloin. My fish was prepared properly (not over cooked) however it was tastless and had a strange glaze on it I didn't care for. My father's lamb that he ordered medium was... More

Found this restaurant while looking for somewhere without burgers or TV! Pleasantly surprised by the variation of food on the menu, and enjoyed a quality meal. Good relaxed service, and would return again. Best food so far on our trip, and well priced.

Food tasted terrible, plus I got big chunks of rock salt in my salsa verde. Now imagine the sensasion when you bite into that. The noodles on one of the fish dishes were undercooked and the broth was luke warm. Total disappointment.

Thank you so much for your constructive comments. These allow us to make genuine improvements to our quality and service. It was good we had the opportunity to email directly to eachother on this matter the following morning and I have personally followed up with our professional team. More

We chose Wild Saffron Bistro because family had been there on several occasions (work oriented) and raved about how delicious everything was. We were not disappointed! Four of us went for dinner and all felt we had excellent meals. 3 of us started out with salad appetizers (all different). We had the House Salad, Curried Avocado Salad and Prosciutto with... More

My wife and I just finished a superb dinner here (Aug 27/13) .. we each had the 3-course dinner special for $29.95, which consisted of: an excellent quinoa salad appetizer, poached salmon accompanied by a terrific broth, basmati rice, and perfectly done vegetables -- young carrot, broccoli, miniature squash, and fabulous miniature yellow beets. Dessert was an excellent bitter-sweet flourless... More

We went there for our son's birthday, we were the only patrons! The food was very tasty except the duck was served well done when both my son's requested it rare-medium rare! The salad's were very delicious! The vegetables served with our main courses were hard and barely hot!! The gentlemen who served us was pleasant enough, but certainly not... More

My wife had picked Wild Saffron as one of the place she wished to dine during our recent trip to Victoria, BC. She chose wisely! The food was great! My wife had the Halibut a la Nage, crusted with cilantro and pistachio, and served in a delicious broth with ginger and lemongrass. The fish was very fresh and the combination... More

Chose this place almost entirely based on TA reviews. It was the right choice for sure but was fairly concerned when we arrived for our 6:30 PM reservation and it was very empty. The city seemed fairly busy the first weekend in July when we were in Victoria but for some reason, no other diners came into to dine really... More

It was the notice in the window advertising a guitarist that evening, that drew us in! We weren't especially hungry so only sampled a main course each, salmon for me and halibut for my daughter. The staff were attentive, the atmosphere just right and the guitarist added to the relaxed ambience we needed after a very long day of travelling... More

Went to Wild Saffron tonight for the Dine Around and to be honest for $30 it was good (I'd been looking for a reason to go to wild Saffron for a long time and dine Around was a great reason). I had a great starter of Marinated Bocconcini Cheese, followed by ribs and a Lemon Curd Parfait. I enjoyed my... More
