I had never had afternoon tea before, but now I am a fan. I loved the variety and especially the pastries. The staff was delightful and the food delicious. There was not the ambiance of the Empress option, but this was more of small cafe feel and half the price. Definitely a must!

Had the home made soup and scone. While the scone was fresh and flavorful, the soup (leek and spinach) tasted like sticky green water. I do believe they forgot the seasoning and the leeks. Otherwise the experience was good

The White Heather is a little gem tucked into an ordinary strip mall. Don't let the outside fool you as the inside is cosy with friendly staff. I'm no spring chicken, but I was about the youngest person there. That's okay--more civilized. Lots of interesting offerings, including yummy scone-wiches stuffed with tasty fillings. Decor could be more colourful, but that's a matter of taste.
