The service and food were both great. First time to eat Chilean food and it was delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Our waitress was excellent, very friendly and informative. Great place and well within walking distance to most major hotels.

Every time we go to Victoria, we go to Santiago's. We especially enjoy their breakfasts, the Eggs Benedict being a favourite. The chipotle hollandaise sauce is fantastic. Puts Eggs Benny up a notch or too in flavour. Service great and the food is wonderful. Do yourself a favour and go to Santiago's for eggs Benny.

We had a large group of nine (including two little children) but the restaurant handled it with no issues. Great service, great good - especially the ceviche. I would return here in a heartbeat.

This is a small place just outside the downtown Victoria area. They have perfectly adequate breakfasts but seem to get more creative with dinner. We had a prawn dish that featured some banana rum flavor that was very mild but melded perfectly with the other flavors. We also tried some fish chowder. Appetizers were tasty and reasonable portions Especially for... More

The concierge of our hotel recommended the restaurant, and we're glad we chose it! The atmosphere is laid back and unpretentious. We went there twice for breakfast and one for dinner. We liked the service, but we loved the food. The menu is a fusion of North American, Thai and South American, and the cooks really know how to use... More

We tried Santiago based on revws and proximity to hotel. Bright, festive decor. Short bkfst menu, no substitutions, slightly latin influenced. Good hot chow, generous portions, interesting orange-chipotle holindais on eggs benny. Good service. Music was salsa alternating w raegge. Worth the try.

We went for a light snack and we're very pleased with the atmosphere and excellent black bean nachos! Definitely returning on this trip.

My wife and I were visiting Victoria for only a day and found this place right near the pier's before our ferry ride back to Seattle. It is a clean and nicely run family place with decent food. The service was amiable but there is nothing that particularly stands out. The ambiance has a South American flair and the service... More

This is a cute restaurant that has lots of different foods on the menu. They had a mussel special on the menu that night. Lots of different broths. My husband had the pesto cream...so-so. I had a veggie quesadilla and added chorizo as the waiter recommended. Also, so-so. I would go back though and try something else. It is very... More

Our group ate here on two occasions, and tasted a wide variety of dishes. The staff were friendly and efficient, and offered drinks promptly. I have to agree with another reviewer though, that the place seems confused about what cuisine they are specialising in. So it it mexican, spanish, thai, burgers? On the first night my partner and I selected... More
