Food always good

A nice, casual dining spot close to the inner harbour and downtown Victoria. Menu is varied and tasty. This restaurant is very popular and does not take reservations unless you are part of a group of 6 or more so go early or be prepared to line up.

Their black beans and rice was excellent and so was their Thai Chicken. Didn't like their house wine.

Came in tonight to celebrate our 16th anniversary. Loved this place, looked so forward to Paella that can only do done here. Was truly disappointed. The muscles had a lingering ammonia smell. First bites turned your stomach. We tried to continue with the meal only to have muscle after muscle smell ripe with what one could only described as sewage... More

Looks like a small diner from the outside but step inside your thoughts change. Food was amazing, service was great. Limited selection of beer

Santiago has the ambience of South America blended with an eclectic variety of dishes. The curries are particularly good. The service is good and the location, whilst a little difficult to find initially, is only a block off the main waterfront and right by where the horse and carriages wait for rides. It was within walking distance of our hotel... More

Interesting, stylish, Mexican place with a lot of character. Inexpensive and well located close to the harbour and many hotels. Ceviche was excellent. Mussels and Caesar’s salad not so much. Mussels were little and few were spoiled – no one took the time to pick through. Salad was a cut up yellow stuff mixed with some dressing. Service was fast... More

Everything was fresh and organically grown. Service was very good. Liked the fact we were not rushed. It was within walking distance from the hotel.

We had one of those situations where one of us was starving and one not-so-hungry, and we were both tired and starting to get crabby. This was the perfect cure for all our ails. The only thing that could have been better is if we could have eaten outside. They do have one table outside in a nice side garden... More

This restaurant is a one minute walk from our hotel, Harbor Towers, so we gave it a try for dinner the first night and shared a huge plate of delicious nachos. We went for breakfast the next morning and had great French toast. We went the next day for dinner again and had the black bean soup-great-and a side of... More
