We had a group of nearly 20 people at 3 tables. Because we were a group, we had limited selections to choose from, though the were all good. Wine is pricey (seems to be true for all restaurants in Victoria). Service was great.

I was on my own, travelling on business. The waiter, Jeremy, was very engaging and knew the menu quite well. I went with his suggestion which were the specials for the evening: beet salad with prosciutto and the halibut for the main. The halibut was beautifully prepared (though a touch salty) with grilled octopus and tomato puree. Glad I stopped... More

Great menu, comfortable atmosphere, helpful wait staff who know the offerings, full service bar, great food, and reasonable prices for the high quality food/drink/service. Reservations are helpful.

The food was excellent and the service too! The vegetables come from a local farm and taste fresh. Seafood was excellent. The chocolate fondue with fruit for two was a perfect cap to a great meal. It is pricey but compares well to other similar restaurants in Victoria. Certainly worth the price.

Wonderful food, great service. Pricey, but delicious! It was a few steps from the hotel so it was also convenient.

After reading the rave reviews online I was very disappointed. Although we had a very nice evening with friends, the room and furnishings are beat and neglected. The meal was average and the dessert was shockingly small, don't order the beet/carrot cake especially if you're sharing! The saving grace was definitely the service as our server was able to offer... More

We were in Victoria for one night and chose this restaurant since it had seafood and was close to our downtown hotel. And it turned out to be an excellent choice. We didn't have a reservation, and even though they were busy, they got us a comfortable booth in a less busy (noisy) area as we requested. The menu provides... More

Super good dinner, starting with an awesome selection of oysters. Loved that they have half portions of the pasta dishes--with the oysters and salads, a half portion was plenty. All delicious. Great wine selection. Cozy, romantic ambiance. Don't be put off by the entrance, which is tucked inside the building and not particularly welcoming. All else was great.

Pescatores emulates other Italian seafood restaurants, with two exceptions: the chef really knows what he's doing, and the seafood is really fresh, since you are, of course, on an island in the middle of the ocean. Very friendly, slightly loud, very enjoyable dinner.

My wife and I enjoyed a very good meal in this centrally located restaurant. Had oysters as the first course followed by salads, all of which was very nicely presented and tasted great. Out main meals were the halibut and salmon which was also very good. All of this was enjoyed with a nice bottle of wine. The service was... More
