We have been here many times, and every time we go here we are treated right. It's a family run place and we are recognized every time we go in. They have the best lamb I've ever had. I would recommend placing a reservation before you go. It's a small place but the atmosphere is great, we have never had... More

This was an excellent choice for a big family birthday dinner. The atmosphere was lively, the service was exceptional, the food was delicious and the music/dancing was an unexpected treat. My two small kids were with us and this was by far the most accommodating and welcoming experience we've had with them at a restaurant. Everyone had a great time... More

Food was good but they have raised their prices, which were already very high. No one should pay 18$ for a plate of geegantes. Previously frozen kalamari for $20? They can do authentic Greek food at a fair price - but they just aren't. I know people like the whole floor show with the bouziki and everything. I'm not crazy... More

In the mood for a huge, delicious Greek feast, I decided to head to Ithaka Greek Restaurant, on Yates Street in Victoria, BC. I was not disappointed; oh, what a wonderful meal! I started with a bowl of fassolada, a hearty, comfortingly thick, rich bean soup, which is almost as good as my mother's homemade soups from so many years... More

We arrived at our reserved table and everything was ready and waiting for us; menus, water already served and a high chair for our 16 month old, with crayons and paper for her to color on in front of her. We instantly felt comfortable there and the staff were super kind and friendly and very entertaining to our little one.... More

While it’s casual dining, they do everything well. The restaurant is family owned and it shows--the staff is engaging, very attentive and great service. They truly care about your dining experience. The Saganaki, flamed at tableside, was delicious. Opting for a lighter fare, my wife ordered the calamari appetizer as her entrée. Consisting of all rings, in a light batter... More

We found this place while we were on a bus tour of Victoria. When we got back to the docks we took a cab back to eat here. Great family owned restaurant. They were very friendly. The dad came and sat with us while he visited with us about his time in the Greek military. My sister had been stationed... More

If only two of you and you are lucky enough to get the back corner table it is very nice and private. Close to kitchen but not too close. These folks know how to serve dinner! Our waiter (John) very good, not too attentive but knew the menu and served us perfectly. The meal, the wine and ambiance all top... More

Long time fans of Passero's, we made sure to stop in during each return to Canada from life overseas...when Frank & Yanula opted for retirement, it was a sad loss. Happily, re-christened Ithaka with Yanula's short term carry over and a talented family team moved west, the transition has been wholly Greek Canadian and a great success. As a design... More

Went for dinner on a Saturday with a reservation for 6 people. Sat promptly and the service for the rest of the meal was excellent. Restaurant was full so a bit noisy. Seating is comfortable, table spacing good. On to the food. Bread and olive dip arrived first. Ordered two appies. Saganaki and Keftedes. The saganaki was a good size... More
