The staff were very helpful and kind. We ate fish and chips, it was good but not like in England :))

Great fresh fish, freshly made coleslaw and tartar sauce, great gluten free options and no hassle! I wish I lived nearer here, I'd be back every week!

I visited The Fish Store today for lunch with my wife and kids and was really impressed with both the food and service! Upon approaching the menu board we were greeted warmly by the smiling staff who were great at providing recommendations. We were also given a great explanation of what Ocean Wise is and where you source your fish,... More

This is a great place to stop while at Fisherman's Wharf to have a quick bite to eat. The fish is fresh and full of flavor. Although their menu is somewhat on the small side, the items they offer are of the highest quality.

Gluten free Halibut was sensational! I'll be back to try the Sturgeon. This was my second time visiting fisherman's wharf and these guys made my day!

A perfect setting on a perfect day. While watching the kids have a great time giving the local seals fish, we stopped for lunch. I had the fish and chips, my son had the tuna tacos and another family member had the spinach salad with salmon candy on top. I ate my fish with my hands and did not have... More

I went to the wharf with my wife and the cook with the bald spot loudly proclaimed to his colleagues offensive things about my wife's "features". The englishman in the window who served us was laughing along with him shortly after serving us. The food tasted pretty good, but it was nothing too special, salmon was dry but the dressings... More

The more famous Barb's is right next to the Fish Store, and has a much shorter line up. The Fish Store's chips are hand-cut and twice-fried, which was the decision-maker for me. There wasn't too much batter and both my halibut and my sister's cod were cooked perfectly. The tartar sauce was made in-store as well. We were in line... More

There is not shortage of places to get Fish & Chips in Victoria, but I think this is the one of the best. It's a small place, right beside their more famous competitor Barb's. You order at the fish counter and pick up at the kitchen window, where you can watch your meal prepared right before your eyes by a... More
