Since my first visit back in early July I've been here 3 more times. Yes, it's that good! Had the one piece Halibut and Chips. It was excellent and price not too bad at around $18. Blackened Halibut wrap also fantastic. Ditto the buffalo chicken wrap. The wraps are a little on the expensive side at $15 to $16 however.... More

The pub is very nice and clean. Small but good looking. I had the turkey club-like the fact that the sandwiches come with $2 soup cups.

Dropped by on a sunday night for a pizza. we decided to eat outside and even though there were only a few patrons we were seated in aisle 102 crammed into some greenery. We moved to a different table on our own, but I didn't understand their seating rationale given the time of night and empty restaurant. We ordered the... More

I attended this restaurant on a friday night late into the evening, We were celebrating a wonderful Naval graduation. It is designed for a younger, upbeat crowd at this time of the week. Food was good and typical pub food but i enjoyed all. Staff were just wonderful and did a great job. Don't go here at this time of... More

From our perspective, the Local Kitchen was a nice place to sit outside and watch people, while being crowded amongst other people watchers. The evening was pleasant, so the crowds were large with few, if any, empty tables. The food was mediocre, and a bit overpriced. The waitresses were attractive, which seemed to be a big drawing card for the... More

Fabulous macaroni and cheese!!!! I had the veggie - they put sun dried tomatoes in it that is just devine! There is nothing low cal about this… but worth the splurge! It's a noisy place, a bit slow with the service, but for a casual bite -it's great. They have Somersby Apple Cider on tap too which is one of... More

The Local was recommended to us and it didn't disappoint. We stopped in for lunch on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. The setting outside was so nice. I had the Pancetta Chicken Burger and my wife had the Veg Head Wrap. The beer selection was also very good. The service was solid.

I ate here twice on this trip. It seems to have slipped a bit since my visit two years ago. The pulled pork sandwich (14) was OK but quite sloppy on the soft white bun. The key lime pie (7) was OK too, though I don't really know how a good one tastes. The halibut and chips (1 pc 18)... More

Good location, and even eating on the patio, was clean and decently quiet. Good food, nice gluten free choices, and service was quick. Would go back, but wouldnt go out of my way if something else interesting came up.

We ate at The Local in Victoria, BC on 4/18 and it was wonderful. Really nice service and relaxing atmosphere. Catered to our kids well, also. A great stop off the cruise ship in the Inner Harbor district. Great views also.
