Welcome to our restaurant! We are a family-run Polish influenced restaurant, whose food is cooked with, above all else, love and care. All of our dishes are made by hand, from scratch, and the majority of these by our mama, Katherina. We offer many gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan slow-cooked options for the health-conscious customer. Our specialties are deliciously stuffed potato pancakes, tender pierogies, hearty soups, fresh salads and Polish beer not available in any other restaurant in Victoria! Whether it's dine-in or take-out, we look forward to serving you in our home-style atmosphere!

If you like perogies, borsch, cabbage rolls and sausage... you NEED to eat here!

My wife, son and I went here for supper with the hopes of having a good Polish/Ukrainian style feed. What we got was PURE LOVE on a plate! I was amazed that there wasn't a lineup down the street when you consider that people line up for a good bacon and egg breakfast. The service was excellent and... read more

We went to Skinnytato for a family dinner over the Christmas holidays and were not disappointed with the food. Between the different group members we had borscht, perogies, sausages, cabbage rolls and potato pancakes, and all were enjoyed. As every Polish family has their own variations of the same dishes, some of these were not what I had grown up... More

If you like buttery homestyle Eastern European-esque food, you'll like this place. Their specialty seems to be their potatoe pancake, which was really good but far too greasy for my tastes. Mmmm, but their pierogies... I enjoyed these the most. Obviously fresh, beautifully seasoned and stuffed, and divinely tasty. Reminiscent of pierogies from my past. Their sauerkraut was also very... I went here with a friend to grab a quick lunch a while ago due to good reviews. There were only a few other patrons in the (already small) restaurant, so I suppose I had expectations of good service given that two servers were present. I was wrong. I'd been walking around downtown for a few hours shopping, and was... More

I am a cabbage roll fanatic and I loved this restaurant. The rolls were tasty, fresh and tender. Everything else I saw in the restaurant also looked and smelled great but I'd probably keep ordering the cabbage rolls because I like them so much.

My husband is of Polish and Slovak descent so when we passed this little place with the Trip Advisor sticker in the window, we knew where we would be lunching the next day. Food was marvelous. I was looking forward to kluski, but was informed that they were out of them since they made them fresh daily...bummer but we will... More

Our 1st visit after reading the reviews. The hostess was warm and offered spot on suggestions for selections. The presentation of the food for lunch was extremely well done. I went with the potato pancake with spinach and feta accompanied by two salads. The portion sizes were just right. Prices are reasonable given the quality of food and service. Suffice... More

There was a group of 9 of us that went for dinner. We all ordered a variety of entrees, and we all enjoyed our meals. This is a small restaurant with seating for 16, so a reservation is recommended. Our server was very pleasant, as was the owner who came out to ensure everything was to our liking. All our... More

The food is amazing if you are looking for a great homemade hearty meal. We ate lunch here and didn't even get hungry for dinner! Highly recommend!
