We went with friends who chose this place and were pleased with the food, though it was not at all "over the top" as we had expected. We had the Shepka, chicken version and our friends had various curry based dishes - they liked the hotness level they ordered, my wife and I were pleased with our varied levels of... More

We lived in Victoria for 5 years and never found this place, but were introduced to it by a friend. The meals are reasonably priced and flavorful. We would recommend the daily special, as it is inexpensive an very tasty. (Hot - spice wise - is not HOT, so if you like spicy food go all in). The watermelon salad... More

Have had lunch here more than once, and recommend it to all our visiting friends. The restaurant offers a rare local opportunity to taste something different. A nice selection of Tibetan and curry menu items are offered. I could fill myself up on the Tibetan Momas alone. This place is always full for lunch, so come before the lunch crowd... More

Decided to try this small unassuming restaurant on a depressing rainy west coast day. Thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, food and service without emptying the wallet.

The word "Cafe" may be misleading: it's much more than that. The menu of the Tibetan Kitchen is artfully divided between Tibetan and Indian dishes, and between vegetarian and meat entrees. The food is all organic and local, very reasonable in price (especially for lunch), and absolutely sensational. My wife had a vegetarian curry, and I had a lamb curry... More

Noodle soups, rice dishes and more. It was delicious and spicy or mild as we wanted it. On a little side street ... wouldn´t have found it - if it hadn´t been recommended to us. (Near the Bay downtown Victoria!)

We thoroughly enjoyed the flavors of our dishes & the food was reasonably priced. We did find strange however that the cook/owner started sweeping the floor and mopping it while we were still eating our dinner - it was only 8 PM, so we weren't there at an unusually late hour. But, I would recommend this restaurant highly!
