A must visit when in Victoria if not just once! We had a great cup of tea and Danish and loved it. The tea comes in individual teapots to your order. They use scalding hot water which brings out the flavor and it TRULY makes the difference. The Carrot Cake and Raisin Danish were wonderful. It was enjoyable to walk... More

A perfect place to stop for all your tea needs. They have a delightful tea room and salon with tea and sandwiches and pastries. Plus their tea shop is gorgeous and their prices are reasonable.

Murchie's is a must stop every time I visit Victoria. Informal dining and highly popular among locals and tourists alike. I’m always down for a luncheon sandwich or afternoon tea and high calorie pastry, or both at one sitting if I'm really adventurous. Take a friend and share!

Best scones I've found so far. Moist and dotted with currants, served with butter and jam. I love that you're served on a tray with a personal pot of tea. I was able to pick the tea blend I wanted and refilled with more water for a longer stay. The Roma sandwich was big enough to share. I was told... More

We had lunch here one day and did some shopping on another. Nice selection of tea and tea service sets. Lunch was reasonably priced and very tasty. The scones are a must. They are perfect with a cup of tea.

Everyday of our 4 day vacation afternoon coffee was at Murchie's. Everything we tried was so good, it's busy but we always found a place to sit.

Need a sandwhich or a muffin? This place has excellence on both plus the warm liquids to help swoosh it down. Lot of history here, and if you can score a seat near the windows...good people watching spot as well. Like most bakeries I've ever been to the earlier you arrive the more choices you have. Very good location if... More

What a neat place!! From the amazing service staff at the counter, to the perfect food & coffee, to the neat silver trays that your food goes on - I was blown away. It took me less than 5 minutes to reach the front of the line every time I visited and I was consistently impressed with the staff and... More

Sometimes tourist sites are popular because they are actually good. And the prices are good too- popped in for a light lunch: sausage roll, tea (of course) and a Madelaine all for 8$. And all delicious. Glad I stopped by!
