Underwhelmed

This was our first visit to this establishment and unfortunately the experience was not what we had hoped for. Though the portions are very generous the preparation of the food needs some attention. I have been here twice and both times have been very underwhelmed. I found the bison burger dry as if it were frozen, and the chips were over salted. The service was disappointing as the waitress seemed more interested in writing the drink specials on the chalkboard than refilling our drinks or clearing our plates. I don't think I would... More

"Pickle Soup" sounded kind of different and exotic (I thought). But, what a disappointment it was; I had to stopped after my second spoonful, it tasted sooo overly salty, they must've recycled the brine from their pickled gherkin with added salt for this not so ingenious creation. After rinsing my affected taste bud with considerable amount of cool beer (most... More

I was here six months ago or so and liked my regular cheeseburger and fries, which is why I give it those 2 stars, but I came in this past weekend and wasn't too impressed. The truffle mushroom burger was so saturated in truffle oil that there was no point in having anything else on the plate. It's a potent... More

Stopped by the Pink Bicycle one afternoon for lunch while on my way to a different restaurant. Ordered a burger and it was so hot it burned my mouth. (I've never burned myself of a burger before!) The burger was OUTSTANDING! The establishment is small. The staff are unusual. The service is OK but the food is absolutely amazing!

But....worth every minute you wait for a table. C'mon now, if you have to wait for a table, nothing more needs to be said! But I will add the fact that their Onion Rings are very very good. Oh yes, the burgers are also excellent. Have been a couple times in the last two weeks and both times, very good.... More

We decided to try Pink Bicycle because we were craving burgers. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! I had a regular cheeseburger and my husband had the truffle mushroom burger. They both were cooked perfectly , and the pink bicycle sauce was wonderful. We are both suckers for anything with truffle in it , so we tried the poutine. It was wonderful,... More

We visited on a recommendation from someone we were working with. There was a queue on arrival for this small burger joint. We were happy to queue as they usually mean a place is popular and worth the wait. We shared the Mac and cheese sticks to start. They were definitely enough for two people. I had a cheese burger... A very interesting choice of burgers. A bit difficult to find in the dark because they don't have good lighting out front. We grabbed takeaway and enjoyed our burgers which were large and flavourful.

Got to the place around 8 on a Wednesday, and were seated right away. After a long day of travel, this place was yummy! I was delighted to be able to get a burger on a gluten free bun - and a good one too! Rest of family had regular buns. Portions are big, and next time I go, I'd... More
