Great local burgers!

Beautiful. My wife and I have had Pink Bicycle on our to-do list for a couple of years, and finally got around to it. My lunch managed to combine three of my very favourite things - lamb, blue cheese, and truffle oil - into a meal that made me want to order another to go. The Blue Cheese Lamb... read more

My husband and I used to think that The Pink Bicycle was one of the best if not the best hamburger place in Victoria. I'm sure we've been there more than a dozen times since they opened. We haven't visited for a year and made the mistake of dining there today. In hindsight, we should have known because there was... More

Sat outside for lunch which was a treat. Burger and fries were terrific. Also had for a the pear salad sans the blue cheese dressing. Substituted for the balsamic instead....got the balsamic but salad arrived covered with blue cheese? Not stellar service but generally acceptable.

I had the halibut burger and house salad - both were excellent. The white wine was very good and reasonably priced. The menu was very creative. I highly recommend they install fans in the ceiling to cool the air; it was very hot inside.

I have been here twice and both times have been very underwhelmed. I found the bison burger dry as if it were frozen, and the chips were over salted. The service was disappointing as the waitress seemed more interested in writing the drink specials on the chalkboard than refilling our drinks or clearing our plates. I don't think I would... More

"Pickle Soup" sounded kind of different and exotic (I thought). But, what a disappointment it was; I had to stopped after my second spoonful, it tasted sooo overly salty, they must've recycled the brine from their pickled gherkin with added salt for this not so ingenious creation. After rinsing my affected taste bud with considerable amount of cool beer (most... More

This was our first visit to this establishment and unfortunately the experience was not what we had hoped for. Though the portions are very generous the preparation of the food needs some attention. The fries were not piping hot and the burgers were satisfactory but not outstanding. As this is the "raison d'etre" of this restaurant we had anticipated eating... More

I was here six months ago or so and liked my regular cheeseburger and fries, which is why I give it those 2 stars, but I came in this past weekend and wasn't too impressed. The truffle mushroom burger was so saturated in truffle oil that there was no point in having anything else on the plate. It's a potent... More

Stopped by the Pink Bicycle one afternoon for lunch while on my way to a different restaurant. Ordered a burger and it was so hot it burned my mouth. (I've never burned myself of a burger before!) The burger was OUTSTANDING! The establishment is small. The staff are unusual. The service is OK but the food is absolutely amazing!

But....worth every minute you wait for a table. C'mon now, if you have to wait for a table, nothing more needs to be said! But I will add the fact that their Onion Rings are very very good. Oh yes, the burgers are also excellent. Have been a couple times in the last two weeks and both times, very good.... More
