We went into this Starbucks to buy some coffee. We asked to have it ground and the fellow wouldn't grind it. He told us it was policy. We left the store and went to another Starbucks, where we received free lattes, some snacks and a very merry christmas as we left the store. With so many Starbucks around the city... More

The Starbucks in Vancouver is located in a central location that allows you to visit the other areas.

I am a frequent Starbucks user anywhere I go that there is one. I've gone to Starbucks in many places in Europe including Madrid's Barajas international airport and every time I've been impressed - and relied upon - Starbucks consistently offering lactose free milk (not just soy which alters the coffee flavour). At Vancouver's international airport they only had soy!... More

I expext Starbucks to provide coffee that is consistent throughout the world. Unfortunately not in Vancouver. This was very ordinary.

As a frequent Starbucks goer I was highly impressed with the service at this location (Robson and Bute). People were friendly and fast. No line up and clean!

This is by far the best Starbucks location in downtown Vancouver, BC. The one inside the Urban Fare market by the Shangri-La hotel on Alberni Street. I am not really a Starbucks drinker but the staff here are very professional and accommodating. We have now become regulars and they always remember our order. Excellent place to relax on a hectic... I first came across Starbucks when they had just one and then two outlets across from each other at the corner of Robson and Thurlow. Someone would always make a coffee run for the morning coffee break. Occasionally some piece of pastry would be added. At that time Starbucks had some great pastries. Later when a Starbucks popped up everywhere... More

Whether you are coming or going, going or coming, on the left or on the right... Robson Street has 2 Starbucks kitty corner from each other. It must make for some interesting, missed, blind dates. Do check out the chocolate company just down/right up the block. It goes great with the coffee!

Staying in South Granville

Neighborhood Profile
South Granville
The neighbourhood closest to the airport, a generous mix of locals and tourists populate the area. The blend has made it a go-to spot to find an eclectic collection of entertainment, from theatres and cinemas, to antique stores and last-minute kitsch souvenir shops. It gives off a transient vibe, and is one of the more higgledy-piggledy areas in terms of what you'll find, making it a fun area to explore and map out, all while taking in the hectic atmosphere of people coming and going, while others look for the best ways to spend their last few hours in the city.
