Great pastries and coffee

Open 24/7 and free WiFi. Gets crowded at times, but the food is above average. Love the breakfast sandwiches heated on a panini machine. The blueberry muffins were amazing. My favorite place for breakfast in Vancouver.

Open 24 hours a day 365 days year. There is no fresher food available in Vancouver. The cafe is clean, the staff is friendly and the food is outstanding. Breka is a must stop for me every time I visit Vancouver.

A long weekend for four adults and a one year-old. Went to Breka as an alternative to our hotel's average breakfast. So good we went back for the next day too. Great value. Pastries and drinks for four (plus a quiche for baby) all for $15. Everything was good. Clean restaurant, friendly service. So much more choice than Starbucks and... More

We spent two weeks travelling around Vancouver and visited Breka many times. Breka is full of pastries, cakes and all things yummy. A great place to stop in and grab a quick bite to eat, a yummy coffee and use some free wifi.

In the heart of little India district, Breka continues to create wonderful German pastries, breads and good coffee. Tried their Apple strudel, it is unbeatable. My favorite pick since then. The Americano doesn't disappoint me, just right amount of caffeine and flavor. Will come back for another surprise!

You can seat outside in a freezing cold because they have heaters. A favorite for this and the sweets. European tasting bakery, French emphasis, I would say, tasty light delicate pastries and flavors. I was pleasantly surprised with the white chocolate raspberry mocha coffee I bought just to taste something different. It was delicious. I wish Starbucks had more varieties... More

This cafe, located in the heart of downtown Vancouver, does excellent coffees and delicious cakes and pastries. Much better coffee than at the chain stores like Starbucks. Overall, highly recommended. Also very conveniently open 24 hours a day.

Stopped by for lunch after a long walk in Stanley Park. Has wonderful looking baked goods and breads, but I was there for a sandwich. For $7.50 I got a nicely prepared goat cheese and salami sandwich and sat in quiet place, resting from my walk and using the free wifi. Was in town on business so did not take... More

Stopped here for an afternoon pick-up. The apple fritter looked to be of average size in the display but when placed on a plate it took on giant proportiions. I'm sure it weighed a pound! It was large. Tasty too. But about 1/3 of it would have been sufficient. The hot chocolate was rich and creamy and perfect for a... More

Great place to have a quick lunch. Their sandwiches and paninis are large and very reasonably priced, plus delicious! Better yet, skip the sandwiches and go for the pastries. I have been coming here since it was just a bakery back in the 60s and the food has always been good.
