Great place to have a quick lunch. Their sandwiches and paninis are large and very reasonably priced, plus delicious! Better yet, skip the sandwiches and go for the pastries. I have been coming here since it was just a bakery back in the 60s and the food has always been good.

I come to this place many times in Fraser Street and the bread, pastries, muffins they have there are great! There are new employees working there and some give you that freakin' look! That is what am not please the way they look at customers! Not a good picture!

We decided to stop for a dessert snack at this bakery right down from our hotel - Marriott Resident Inn on Hornby St. on the last day that we were in Vancouver. This bakery is on the corner of Hornby and Davie Sts. We took them back to our hotel to enjoy with some coffee and tea. I had a... More

Coffee is just perfect, and the service is very personal. Pastries are absolutely delicious, and sometimes is hard to make a decision. Go for it, whatever you get will be good. It's a nice place to hang out, and sometimes to get a few goodies to go. It's open 24 hours so we never miss the chance to indulge in... More

This place is open 24-7 and the choices of pastries is amazing. So many choices and all at reasonable prices. The butter walnut bar was very rich and big enough to share. If you are in the neighborhood, stop in and get something to go-you won't be sorry!

Come here often for a late night coffee and cake. Their cakes are excellent and the coffee is delicious. Great place to meet with friends.

The German and central European-style bread here is second to none in Vancouver, and that is no less the case for the pastries the place prepares. The coffee is great, and you can't beat the hours - 24/7! The Fraser Street outlet is incongruously located, considering the largely Asian backdrop, but happily there are now additional outlets through the city.

Stopped by on my walk back to my hotel after dinner and was impressed with the selection of sweets and the number of connected patrons chatting and surfing. The old-style chocolate eclair was creamy and delicious, just the way it should be!

Didn't know anything about this place. Just spotted it out of the corner of my eye as we were wandering around for a coffee and a quick bite to eat. It's hidden a little way up the street from the crossroads with some trees in the way. Anyway we went in and ordered a couple of coffees, a cheese toasty... More

Visited solo and with friends, but this place is okay at best. There are times when the place is swamped, and other times it is modestly populated. There is a perpetual line for the washroom comprised mostly of bus drivers of Fraser 8 who often try to get in ahead of patrons in spite of the fact they were there... More
