After looking at other reviews, I feel a bit bad for those of you who had a sub-par experience at Ebisu. Mine was quite the contrary. After a week of very productive meetings in BC, this slice of sushi heaven was just what the doctor ordered. The staff was more than accommodating for our group that was very thirsting for... More

Went for dinner at Ebisu on a sunny Sunday, lucky there was no line up. We were greeted by the hostess, she sat us near the front entrance. We ordered an assorted Sashimi which were very fresh and sliced to an ok thickness. Also had the real Crab meat roll which were ok. The food was mediocre at best. What made up... More

Happy Hour Oysters are decently priced and good. The cocktail sauces you get after Happy Hour are much better though - I'd pay the extra money for the sauces! I also had the garlic clams - really good, tender clams with a great sauce. The drinks there taste pretty good, but after three drinks, I had a headache and since... More

We were there for happy hour and the prices are excellent. Had a few oysters, ten wings, and two sushi rolls. Add in a pitcher of Sapporo and wasn't even 30 bucks before tips! Service is also friendly. However, I would probably only come back for happy hour. The food isn't the best but I did really like the chopped... More

We have been sent to Ebisu on Robson by locals. The food was not amazing, the interior neither. A lot of sport on screens. Service was ok. There must be better Sushi-Places, no doubt.

If you want tasty sushi in Vancouver with a less fancy/more fun ambiance then this is the place for you. I would say this is not my favourite restaurant in terms of taste but they're open late and have a good drink selection! Also, the food is pretty darn good too.

Ordered take-out one night when we were visiting Vancouver. The menu was online and the service was friendly. Interesting choices as they have 3 kinds of chicken wings and other choices for those who aren't wild about sushi. For those who are wild about sushi, this may not be the place for you. The sushi itself is fine, just nothing... More

We decided to try Ebisu late one night after a show. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The sushi platters was a very good choice especially the volcano sushi. Very nice and spicy. The sushi is very fishy in terms of taste. The decor is very nice but unfortunately dotted with television screens which makes it less romantic and... More
