Wish I could go back again......

My Wife, daughter and I were strolling through Yale Town when we came across an intriguing restaurant that we figured was worth a try for lunch. Red clam chowder was fabulous with just enough spices. My Wife and I shared an order of steamed mussels which were the largest and sweetest mussels ever... read more

One night in Vancouver, and we headed to Rodney's Oyster House as the reviews were good, and it was within walking distance to our accommodation. There was a vibe in the restaurant, and we had high expectations. I ordered the crab cakes with salad, and my partner ordered the house fish stew. The food was excellent. My crab cakes were... More

Me and my friend was thinking where to go eat on late Monday evening. We end up in Rodney's and it was amazing. Monday evening, but it was still pretty busy, lovely hostess give us 2 sits at the bar right away. Friendly staff took care of our drinks right away. I order New England Chowder and steamed mussels, my... More

Great food and a really good choice of dishes for pescatarians. Rarely do we get a choice of more than 1 or 2 dishes but we could choose many more here. Had 4 different mains and they were all good. The staff were great too and happy to bring all 4 desserts together with 4 spoons so we could all... More

The oysters were great very fresh and tasty. The mussels were ok but no amazing. The restaurant had a good atmosphere but it was pricey for what you got. Also very pricey for the wine there are other places that have better wine for a cheaper price. Overall though it was a good experience.

Great staff. Oysters were fresh, shucking was way better than the Fish Shack. Still don't like the wine in tumblers, just get wine glasses already. Soup was great, candied salmon was delicious. Great atmosphere. Great meal for the money.

Rodney's fleeces the wallet a tad but worth it! Always a great experience whenever we come to Vancouver...a must stop. Wines are pricey but good. Given the quality of the fish one doesn't expect it to be cheap and it isn't. Fun and delish! The chowders are all top notch and its a kick to sit at the bar and... More

We took a chance on a holiday evening, and showed up early around 5:30. We sat up at the oyster bar and let George, the server guide us through some amazing selections of oysters on the half shell and then on to main entree. We were not disappointed by any of the selections. Everything was top quality and fresh local... More

Was looking forward to the food as menu sounded delicious. Place was packed - nice vibe. Staff were really friendly with the one exception - the guy behind the bar who served us.For drinks, he asked what he could get us - when I said not sure as had not seen drinks menu, I was told that most people know...
