Went for the happy hour of $1.50 a shuck. Good oysters. A glass of wine poured to the brim in a weird glass. Overall we enjoyed and would certainly return.

Ate here with a group of business colleagues. The atmosphere was casual and friendly. Food was OK, but not spectacular. I wouldn't hesitate to go back. Go early for dinner. The Gastown district can get a little creepy as night sets in.

I have no idea why we haven't been back here for way too long. we don't live in Vancouver so when we do come, there are so many places to try out. we are slowly realizing tho' that if we find a good place, why keep trying others? Rodney's remains fun, servers wearing shorts, wine served in water glasses, seating... More

I am not really a seafood person, especially not for oyster; but since this restaurant was highly recommended by a friend, I decided to give it a try, and I am glad I did! We went there during happy hour, so it's a bit cheaper than the regular costs. We ordered raw oyster, mussels, garlic shrimp, pan fried oyster, and... More

Love fresh oysters? This is the place for you. The early bird gets the Happy Hour price which is a significant saving. You also get a slightly more subdued experience for us older crowd as it tends to get VERY busy in the evening. The servers are very friendly and all the meals are beautifully prepared and presented and delectable.... More

We had reservations and had a table upstairs, holy cow it was hot with no fans or apparent air conditioning. Our food was good, I think our companions were less than thrilled with theirs. It definitely has a fun vibe. Service was good. We ended up paying $100 per couple which included splitting a bottle of wine.

Excellent choice of east and west coast oysters. Great specials, good service and good wine list. Good prices for Vancouver. I could see this a good adult family venue or possibly a small party venue.

We loved this casual oyster bar restaurant and had lunch there; we'll be back for dinner. The oysters we ordered were so fresh and delicious and the crab cakes and salad plate very tasty.Service was attentive.

Rodney's is a casual place with attitude and great food. It is also very noisy, which some may like, but we find it hard to carry on a conversation. On a Monday night in August it was packed. The menu is not extensive but the food is good and consistent - we have never been disappointed. Our table enjoyed oysters... More
