I went for happy hour (low tide) at the Rodneys in Yaletown and had the raw oysters which were superb. The place was packed and next time I hope to sit at the bar.

If you are looking for real deal oysters visit Rodneys. My wife and I sat at the bar and feasted on some of the best oysters either of us has ever had. Fresh horseradish and crafted microbrews complemented a superb eating experience. The staff was brash, but never rude, and made us feel right at home immediately. For true oyster... More

This restaurant is amazing! My husband and I were in Van for 4 days and checked out a number of different places. This was by far both of our favourites. We had an awesome server (bobby), and the food was unreal. Great atmosphere, great night! Also check out Medina cafe , Chewies, and flying pig... All good but Rodney's still... More

This place is full of energy and will not be a quiet dining experience. Make sure you order a ceasar and raw oysters. The happy hour menu is great my favorite are the scallops and deep fried oysters. The clams and mussels can be a bit salty but still great to eat with friends. I love their halibut entre.

I have been going to the Rodney's in Yaletown for many years & I recently tried their new gastown location , Both locations are absolutely fabulous ! I was worried the consistency might not be there , but they hit it spot on :))) with all the fresh seafood available to us locally it's surprisingly difficult to find a great... More

We came on recommendations from the hotel. Sat right away at the bar on a busy saturday night. Got quick service although never really sure if they heard us or not so found ourselves ordering twice a few times. Having said that the oysters were quick to come, my glass never empty and the knowledge strong on the oysters. The... More

Our evening at Rodney's was fantastic. Service was impeccable along with the amazing selection of Oysters. I would go three times a week if I lived here! Will definitely be back!

Oysters were really fresh, and the different types of sauces are fun to try. Steam mussels were average, the potion was good. Service was ok. The wait was looooooong, and they don't take reservations!

Definitely a must for anyone that enjoys Oysters. Large selection from Canada & US and always fresh. We come to Rodney's everytime we are in town. Also try a fresh raw scallop if they have them. I've never looked at the rest of their menu so I can't comment on anything else. We order a mixed plate and let them... More
