Vancouver's very own dive cafe...

So this is what a post-apocalyptic world would look like. Now we know. Kind of like the Star Wars Café without the band, though there is an honest-to-god jukebox just inside the front door. They may not have cleaned the carpet since Pearson was Prime Minister, but otherwise it's a lot cleaner... read more

"The $2.95 Special" includes eggs, meat (sausage, bacon, or ham), toast, and a generous side of hashbrown potatoes. Best meal deal in town hands down. Don't worry if another customer offers to refill your coffee, it's just part of the culture. The service is good (e.g. Kris the waitress), but often understaffed. Note that ubiquitous graffiti is part of the... More

Always a great place to go for a low cost meal and a community atmosphere, I always get the breaky deal with sausage (comes with ham or bacon) and poached eggs, everything is always good, generous amounts. It's one of my favourite places to go in Vancouver, there may be a line up during brunch hours...

This place is not your typical restaurant or fast food joint you go into. From the outside it looks grimy and there is a smell when you enter. People are friendly and laughing inside but not your average joe. The staff (one lady serving the place) was very friendly and welcoming. Got my order promptly and even though she was... More

Especially being first time in North-America and gettin here for cheap breakfast, Bon's is a super special athmosphere and the best place for hangover breakfast until late!

First of all the All day breakfast for $2.95 is a great deal. Two eggs anyway you like, toast, potatoes, choice of bacon or sausage. I paid a little more to get the Fresh fruit instead of the meats. Good service. Healthy options too with egg white omelettes. Burgers, pancakes and the all the rest. Fun place to visit

I've been there many times. It's one of those places you have to try once when in Vancouver. It is not by any stretch of the imagination, fancy. It is a no nonsense quick in and out kind of place. It is grungy, but has a lot of charm. Actually, there isn't a word in the dictionary that can describe... More

we were treated to this gem of a restaurant about a week ago and really enjoyed it. the people that took us were worried that we wouldn't like it but what is not to like? it is an old place with posters on the wall and people writing on them and the walls, signing their names etc. there is a... Tip 1: If you do not own a car then prepare to catch the publich transport to this joint. Be warned that the public transports are really slow and always delayed during weekend. Tip 2: What to order? Ok, definitely order the $2.99 meal deal. I highly recommend you to order only 1 pancake if you are not a big... More

I liked the neighborhhod feel, the grafitti on the wall, the real food and people. Some in my party didn't think it was for tourists. Maybe so, but they were friendly and the $2.95 breakfast special was enough to let me skip lunch. Y
