ate there for dinner a few days ago, and my experience is very good. I ordered the lamb and it was so good- cooked to perfection. I'm not a fan of the rice thing, though. And the mimosa----so good! you have to try it when you're in vancouver.

Nuba is a wonderful surprise. Make sure you get here a little before noon as it fills up quick when the city goes on its lunch break. The pitas here are the best value. Wonderful Lebanese cuisine at a very reasonable price. This is my favourite lunch spot bar none.

An awesome restaurant! Such fresh ingredients, I require a gluten free and dairy free diet and mostly ALL these items are gluten free!! I had the beef tenderloin with baba ganooj, roasted potatoes and hummus......one word AMAZING!!!! Beef didn't even need to be cut with a knife as it just fell apart and was so tender! perfectly medium rare cooked!... More

We were surprised by how good this restaurant was. The food was so fresh and flavors were fabulous. I'm not usually a fan of Middle Eastern food bc it's always so salty and has too much garlic. Not at Nuba! I liked the subtle mix of flavors and the use of organic ingredients. The ground lamb atop the hummus was... More

My wife and I were wandering around Yaletown and were looking for a place to eat. Pretty much every place we passed was a little beyond our price range. I had read somewhere about Nuba and thought we would try to find it. We had a little bit of trouble seeing it because it is not right on the corner... More

We went to Nuba's in downtown Vancouver for an early dinner. Their wait staff were incredibly nice and offered a great assortment of very good Lebanese food. Probably the most unexpected but delightful courses we had was a tomato and pomegrante soup that was spicy and very delicious. The rest of the dinner was just as tasty, including falafels with... We found Nuba when looking for somewhere good to eat that would suit our family's allergies as well as vegetarian/vegan diets. Nuba fit the bill and impressed us in many ways. It is in the downstairs of a building under a cool-looking dentist office. The decorating is simple and very pleasant. We had a great bottle of wine with dinner... More

I have visited the Downtown location on Seymour many times. The food is consistently good and the falafels are the best.

I couldn't have been happier when the owners opened this location in addition to the one near Gastown. The hours are more extensive and the location is better. The food is absolutely fabulous for vegetarians, and our carnivore friends have enjoyed the meat items. The fried cauliflower is not to be missed as you won't find the like at many... More
