Had a great meal at this restaurant. The food was fresh, well prepared and provided a multitude of flavours. It was refreshing to see that they didn't offer up just another "Earl Stones Club" menu. I'm definitely going back, not only is it tasty, but healthy too!

Great rooms and great window tables (tbl 301/1 was ours). Decor and ambience were spot on. Service was smart. Our guy knew his menu upside down and inside out. To start I had the house special which is "Najib's Special" - this is crispy cauliflower tossed with lemon and sea salt and tahini. Really great starter. The "fish of the... More

The food is always fantastic - try the falafel with avocado wrap! And the cauliflower ... to die for. The service can't be beat -- always there when needed but never overbearing. The Cambie & Hastings location is better than their other locations both for food & service. The other locations are good but C & H is better. If... More

Had some takeout pitas from Nuba, which were jammed with deliciousness. It was my first visit there but plan to return! There were many vegetarian selections on the menu, which was great as some in our group did not eat meat. Fresh and yummy.

Not exclusively vegetarian, but many vegetarian dishes to choose from. We had lunch at the Gastown location at the corner of Cambie and Hastings. The four of us shared their Le Feast which is a sampler of six or seven of their most popular vegetarian dishes. All excellent, but best to add one additional dish to fill four people. Nice... More

We wanted something a bit different for dinner in Vancouver and were looking at the Afghan Horsemen Restaurant, but found that the Cafe Nuba was only 3 blocks away from where we are staying so decided to give it a go. It is certainly not a place to go for the decor, but the food is amazingly tasty! We ordered... More

I've been here several times. I like the menu, love the veg options but I have had mixed results. Also, some of the dishes are quite expensive for what you get. If you go, try lunch time when it is more casual. Dinner is hit and miss.

Had a late night dinner here. Found the garden falafel awful. Lettuce tasted like it had been partially thawed. Nothing to write home about and I love Middle Eastern food. On the plus side, the cauliflower was good.

Canada is not the greatest country in the world to eat out as a vegetarian, but if you like North African food, I would recommend this chain of restaurants - I think there are at least 3 different locations in Vancouver. Despite it's title, 'the feast' isn't huge, but is a selection of about half a dozen delicious delicacies in... More
