Always lots of fun to be had at the Cascade. Friendly staff, delicious food and amazing drinks. 5/5 every time. Only wish they had a patio.

Our group of 15 headed into the Cascade Room for the beginning of our night's pub crawl. The beer selection, as noted in my other review, is excellent. The polenta fries are still legendary. Those are the two things that might bring me back, however there are now many, many other choices of venue to enjoy a wide selection of... More

A bar? A "British Pub"? Another bland Vancouver drinkery? All three, apparently. I've tried to like this place but the bar staff spend all their time trying to pick up and the waitresses are angry and impatient. Quite what's British about this palace I don't know.

Really enjoyed the seafood stew. All the seafood was perfectly cooked, sauce was minimal but thick and creamy and bacony, aka delicious. They also have a very nice beer selection and good service.

I went for food, I ordered a beer and a fish and chips. It took 3 minutes to get the beer and before I even had a sip the food arrived. I'm not sure how you can go so wrong on fish and chips but it was inedible. I will not return.

The quality has slipped so dramatically that I fail to recognize the drink they're serving now with the same name as one I have enjoyed in previous years. Yellow grapefruit juice is not equivalent to pink grapefruit juice, therefore if you don't have it, don't try and make the drink. It's booze butchery. The seats at the bar are less... More

Went to the Cascade Room last week (late October, 2013) for a Girl’s night out. It was the first day of their new menu and we tried a little bit of everything... Got seated right away and our server was helpful in advising me of the non-alcoholic beers they had, so we ordered a couple of drinks while waiting for... More

I went here last night for a Birthday meal and this place always ticks every box. The ambiance, the menu, the cocktails, and the service is excellent, I love the staff in here, they're superb! Special mention to our server Ginny who was professional in helping my vegan boyfriend choose something from the menu. The only reason this review is... More

Staying about a five minute walk away, we ventured to the Cascade Room. It wasn't crowded & we opted to sit at the bar. The two bartenders were extremely friendly and made certain your drink order was just the way you requested it. The food choices were good as were the specials. Meatloaf and burger (with pork and beef) were... More

After a terrible experience at the Ticket bar in Vancouver, we wandered over to the Cascade room thanks to google map. We were greated right away, by a friendly man, and he asked if we would like to be seated towards the front of house, or back, nice touch! Options are always appreciated :) The food menu was small...but the... More
