So pleased we found Brioche. Terrific dinner (wish they were open later) of eggplant parmigiana and wonderful sangria (served with a spoon so you can eat the fruit), great service and cheerful, welcoming employees.

Good spot recommended by my daughter as we both work nearby. It is a small Italian cafe and you order at the counter. My daughter had a steak sandwich served with shrimp bisque soup and both were delicious!! I had the eggplant parmesan with a side of green bean and asparagus salad. The salad was huge and the eggplant was... More

Found this restaurant while on search for a breakfast place. Waiters seemed not very motivated. My son was content with his french toast, he didn't touch his hot chocolate after the first sip any more - it had a weird aftertaste. My scrambled eggs were extremely oily, the sour dough bread was very dry and brittle, came with no butter.... More

I had a special which was a veal parmigiana sandwich. It was tasty but a bit overly messy and impossible to eat as a sandwich due to the height of the bread, so I'd rate that 4/5. I really liked the side tomato/zucchini/feta salad that came with it! (huge portion by the way once you add this side, I'd have... More

This small Resturant served some very good dinners! We had the back room to ourselves (9) the place is small, and only one waitress, but the food is worth the wait! I had the eggplant parmesan, with Caesar salad, both were very good. Others had veal Parmesan, pasta and panini, all of which were also very good. The pear tart... More

Brioche Urban Baking and Catering is a wonderful funky, informal cafe in the Gastown area of Vancouver. We were looking for a place open early enough for breakfast; unlike any other place around there, it opens at 7:00 am. In addition to great pasteries, they have full breakfasts and an espresso bar. I had tasty eggs benny, my partner traditional... More

This is not your average street eatery. What looks like a smallish, casual coffee bar offers well-priced innovative cuisine as well. There's a serious chef working in the kitchen behind the ordering counter.

Very nice place with tasty options. I had the Eggplant Parmesana and the Tiramisu and they were both excellent. It had a cosy and relaxing atmosphere. Sky, the evening manager, was amazing. I was pleasantly surprised to see a young girl that doesn't work just for the tips, but because she really loves the job and cares. I think she... More

Walking around Vancouver, checking out some galleries and tourist shops, we decided lunch was in order. Brioche looked cute but we were shocked to discover how delicious and fresh our lunch was. Both my husband and I ordered Eggplant Parmesan which came with a green salad and toasted bread. The Eggplant was out of this world delicious and perfectly prepared.... More
