We ate breakfast here on a Sunday morning. It was a bit pricey (more than $10 just for food). However, if I reframe the situation and call it Sunday brunch instead of Sunday breakfast, then it was a good deal. I had a dish with scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, and it was tasty. It came with a fruit salad... More

This joint is jumpin! One of my favorite lunch spots, great selection of freshly made foods. The wild mushroom gnocchi and the lamb shank are my favorite. The soups are also a good option. Hint the outside tables are great on a sunny day but wine is only served inside.

Friendly prompt service, good advice on wine choice and tasty ravioli and eggplant dishes with rustic vegetable sauce and salad respectively made for heathy and enjoyable dinners in this small Gastown Italian cafe at a reasonable price. As more Italian than French the name seems a little misleading tho!

We were in Vancouver for a few hours and needed a local place for breakfast. The hotel recommend another place and on our way we came across this little place. Looked inviting so we have it a shot. Very small and quaint neighborhood Italian restaurant. Most tables were taken but we squeezed into one by the door. The servers were... More

We went here after reading the good reviews on tripadvisor but was really disappointed with it. The quiche was not to our liking and it's think topping made it difficult to cut through. The bread was very dry, the soup wasn't to my liking and they forgot to bring my husband his salad. We inquired about the salad and waited... More

Over 3" thick, in a homemade crust and loaded with ham, mushrooms, asparagus, brie; topped with bolognese sauce; served with a side salad with marinated green beans and a thick slice of homemade bread with a drizzle of olive oil. Coffee was excellent also. Happy was referred by a local tour guide, or would have walked right past this literal... More

We visited for lunch on spec whilst touring Gastown, and were delighted with the whole experience. We shared a fish ciopinno dish, priced at $25, which as well as being delicious was extremely well priced. The dish was accompanied by a superb salad and fresh bread and the service was good without being intrusive. We would wholeheartedly recommend a visit... More

We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident while walking through Vancouver in search for breakfast. We came in by the back door, which doubles as a chalk board with specialties. Very friendly service, excellent food quality and nice atmosphere. Next time we're in Vancouver, we will return there, this time not by accident...

Vancouver seems to be full of small, independent bistros and cafes representing hundreds of ethnicities and food types. On our first visit to the city, in order to begin our very first cruise vacation, my wife and I were on the hunt for the perfect place to have brunch before starting the boarding process in the afternoon. While buying a... More

Sit in the window and watch the world go by. Literally! I heard so many different languages from people walking by! The cioppino came highly recommended, and it was really tasty. Fresh fish - seven different kinds - in a tasty, flavorful broth. The pot in which it came was enough to feed a teenage boy, or two moderate eaters.... More
