Worth the View

We had a good meal here, was not blown out of the water but a good meal. The view was AMAZING and it was great to finish our trip to Vancouver here to be able to see the different locations we had been.

We covered Vancouver by foot, hop on/off bus and boat but this place really gave you the views over the city. We went about an hour before dark and had the great pleasure of seeing this city fall into the pretty night scene. We went on a Monday evening and it was not at all busy. We were seated right... The views were amazing! and the rotating floor ensured that it was constantly changing. The food was very good if not spectacular but the views certainly made up for the shortfalls. I would take my family with me next time just for the views!!

The main problem was that we have found a green rubber band in the food. This is unacceptable itself, especially in a restaurant over mid price range. First the waiter tried to brush off the issue by blabbering about the lobster and how the kitchen uses the rubber band for its preparation. Even if we had lobster it is not... More

Before going we were concerned about the mixed reviews but obviously they are listening and doing much better or we caught them on a very good day as we loved it. The food was very good, well prepared, well presented and very substantial but not the best we have tasted. All in all we had good value for our money... More

We had a family meal, the food was average at best. Nothing came as it was advertised. The water service girl who bussed the table had greasy hair and did not make any eye contact despite being our first point of contact. The waiter did more arguing with us then making the effort to remedy our concerns about the food.... More

People usually assume that restaurants at the top of observation towers are going to be over priced cafeteria food but that perception is changing. This tower is a great example. We have eaten here twice (once for lunch and once for dinner) and had fantastic meals each time. The most recent meal, my wife and I took my cousin's husband... More

Food was good but not spectacular. Very expensive but is okay to me as long as you understand you are paying for the view. View is spectacular.

Obviously we came for the view. It was amazing! You get a 360 degree view of everything. One complete turn lasts around 30 minutes. The chowder was amazing! I ordered the lamb though and it wasn't the best for me. It was alright. But with the food being above average and the view being amazing, I would definitely come back... More
