Way better than we were expecting

My mom was in town and I wanted to give her a clear view of her old neighbourhood on the North Shore. I expected the Top of Vancouver restaurant to be a tourist trap but it was very good food and I will definitely go back. Okay, so you know that going in you are paying for the incredible view. When on vacation, you do touristy things, and this wasn't a bad idea. We did love the concept, and the food was good. But, it is pricey, and the menu is fairly limited. If you like novelty and an incredible view on a clear day, then... More

This is a great place to get a bird's eye view of the city of Vancouver. The restaurant revolves very slowly - taking about an hour to make a complete revolution. The restaurant is very modern, good selection for lunch, and the service was excellent.

The menu is good, the food is good, but it's not great. It is touristy and you expect it. But the atmosphere is very good and you are clearly there to enjoy the view so it makes for an overall very good experience. We had no trouble filling 2+ hours over dinner. (2 full revolutions).

Great for spectacular views of Vancouver but little else. We went for drinks and appetisers. The food was mediocre at best. The drinks were very small and that's when we found out about the alcohol laws in Vancouver. Give this a miss as there are other great ways to see the skyline of Vancouver!

The service was excellent, the food very good and the view was stunning. Wines were very expensive, $CAD52 for a wine we'd pay $A35 for in a similar restaurant Australia yet in a Vancouver bottle shop Australian wines are cheaper than at home. But that didn't matter, it was a great night.

We were fortunate enough to be at the top on a beautiful evening. It is a bit expensive as others have commented, but if you want to see the view, might as well have dinner and save the price of the lookout! Jenny was our server and she was terrific, helping us to set a leisurely pace for a wonderful... More

On a clear day, we enjoyed the views from this revolving restaurant and stayed until the sun set. We thought the meal was expensive ($193 including tax for 1 beer, 1 bottle of wine, 1 starter, 2 main meals and 1 dessert). Fortunately when dining in the restaurant, you don't have to pay for the elevator up. The food was... More

We went to the Top of Vancouver when we had a couple of friends visiting from out of town. It was our first time at the restaurant and were not disappointed. The views are absolutely spectacular - try to go just before sunset so you get to see the city during the day and the transition to night time. I... More

The view from the revolving restaurant will not disappoint. The food and staff are excellent. Our server Samantha was very informative and joked with us quite a bit. The menu is a little pricey but if you take into consideration that you didn't have to pay the admission fee to the Tower Lookout the value is pretty good. By the... More
