Lamb vindaloo dosa is my favorite dish there. Quite filling and flavorful, I'll try the chicken next time
We went on Tali Tuesday but they had a run on them and we missed out. We ordered a vegetarian dosa and a curry. Both dishes were awesome. We'll be back for tali plate Tuesday and by the way every night at this restaurant there is something going on.
Couldn't believe when someone said,"House of Dosas provide more than 100 types of Dosas", when I have not seen more than 5 or 6 types. The dosas and chutney were far delicious than what I had expected, and the sea food along with it was awesome... Never had such a sumptuous meal in near future... All the best for House... More
Cant find better tasting dosas in this town...good tasty dosas with equally good chutney...its always a great feeling going to this place let it be for breakfast, lunch or dinner.its one the restaurants that never get off my list of favourite indian restaurants.
We watched a cricket match enjoying wonderful spiced dishes, was like being in another country! Food and service very good from family style restaurant.

I ate a Onion Rava Lamb Dosa.... More
We were in Vancouver for a conference and stumbled on the House of Dosa. Very surprsed to find a typical south indian eatery in vancouver canada. The owner Mr. Raj a very down to earth man himself served us. He has a great cook from HP in India and one of the steward is a very well trained hand in... More
I always wanted to try Dosas, but its hard to find a Southern Indian restaurant. So on my trip to Vancouver, I used Google Maps to find my way here by bus. (It was more than a 1/2 hour bus ride from downtown/WestEnd Vancouver). I came early on Monday 5:30 for dinner, since I heard that it gets crowded because... More
Beside having dosas the length of baseball bats, it is the crab curry I love! Every time I am in Vancouver this is my go to place. The crab curry is sweet, spicy, and served with rice and paratha. It is messy to eat but the crab melts in your mouth and I can't get enough of that creamy curry.... More
Cleanliness is bad. I'm scared to look into their kitchen. Dosas are good but their coconut chutney is bad, red chutney is good. Considering I know how to make dosas and chutneys and I would say they must be making a lot of money by charging $8-9 per dosa. Their expense must be not more than $1 per dosa for... More
