Comfort Vegetarian Food

I go to the Naam every time I get the chance to visit Vancouver. I stick with the usual naam house bowl...tons of veggies over rice with peanut sauce. There are lots of menu choices -- dessert is mighty fine too. The resto is open 24 hours which I oddly find myself thinking about sometimes. A good... read more

I have visited the Naam a number of times. I love their food and it's great value for the price. Servers can be a bit grouchy at times and they don't seem to offer takeout consistently. They say they will if they aren't too busy but I've requested it at times when the restaurant looks quiet and they've said no.

I ate at Naam twice and I loved the large helpings and the amount of veggies that were piled high. The service was average, the restaurant itself is very nice with music sometimes and a great patio full of trees. The downside is a lack of flavour in general. The meals aren't prepared with much flare or interesting flavour. If... More

The portions are enormous, so this is a good place to go if you're hungry... but be forewarned, it may take a long time to choose what to eat, because the menu is long and full of items that vegetarians can eat. Lots of vegan options, too.

This vegetarian restaurant had a great variety of different types of cuisines and flavors at reasonable prices. One of us got the Naam Dragon Bowl, a flavorful stew atop brown rice that was quite filling. One of us got the Sam's 5-Star Burger which was tasty. Luckily we had room to finish with the apple crisp and vanilla ice cream,... More

This was a fantastic experience all round for us. It was worth the trek from downtown Vancouver. Very busy (they are open 24/7 which is amazing as well) and very good food.

At first glance the menu looks really huge but looking in you can see most items come with a similar combination of base ingredients (i.e. potatoes) topped with other things. Team Tastic had the following: Gold Dragon Bowl ($11.25) (Naam potato fries, cheese, miso gravy, steamed veggies, sprouts, carrots & deep fried tofu) Super Burrito Platter ($15.25) (chili burrito, with... We had family visiting and one of them is Vegan, so we were told to try out this restaurant. We must have lucked out because we arrived on Sunday evening around dinner time and walked right in and got a table. There were lines throughout our meal but were seated very quickly. The food quality was great, we are meat... More

I visited this place and must admit I do not get the fuzz about it at all. This place came highly recommended by the locals as well as lonely planet etc but I cannot see why. The portions are huge but bland and boring. I am not a vegetarian but know that vegetarian food can be every bit as tasty... More

I literally ate at the Naam breakfast lunch and dinner for the 3 days I was staying in Kits. A short walk from the beach this restaurant has the true hippy vibe of 70's Vancouver. The staff are all super chilled, they have live music, the food is great and is very cheap.
