Description: Adesso, in Italian means now, now as in modern, now as in today, now as in current. Our menu and our daily specials reflect today's trend towards healthy, local and seasonal organic foods. At Adesso Bistro we take a modern approach to the traditional cuisine of Italy's Ligurian region, a refreshing return to food made with love, tradition and soul. Our goal is to create an experience for our guests that will capture the essence of Adesso's unique regional cuisine. Our menu features such items as pizza Tartufo (black truffle fonduta, new potatoes, onions and house-made unsmoked bacon)and enticing entrees including braised Lamb Shanks served with artichokes and white beans, roasted Sablefish marinated in marsala, and Cornish Hen with chestnuts and black truffles. Pasta, from Tagliatelle to Pansotti, is complemented with a variety of tasty accompaniments, from Berkshire pork to wild mushrooms, fresh seafood to sage butter.

. We tried to call for a reservation a few times, but the voice message inbox was full and therefor we could not leave a message . Once I was lucky enough to speak with a person, the employee on the phone told me that they are overbooked and there are no availabilities during any of the days I requested.... More

Used our Groupon to try this restaurant that was new to us & our friends. We had a delightful 3-course Italian lunch accompanied by one of our fine British Columbia wines, Red Rooster Pinot Blanc.

Bubbly crusted aromatic funghi appetizer pizza drizzled with Truffle oil, pillowy gnocchi and a short rib that i have ordered twice and still crave... I will be making lots of return visits to this restaurant in the Buchan Hotel west of Denman Street. I resisted going here because i still mourned the loss of Parkside (Andrey Durbach flagship) that used... More

We read about this restaurant on trip advisor, and went there when we were in Vancouver pre Alaska Cruise. It's just a short walk from Robson near the Empire Landmark Hotel end. So glad we went there as we had a delicious meal with very friendly service. It was a beautiful evening and we sat outside on the lovely patio.... More

The Italian restaurant is in a hotel located on a quite street minutes away from Robson street. Based on previous reviews, we went there for a lunch using groupon (reservation is needed if with groupon). It seems the waiter had a bias against groupon users. Very few customers and seldom showed up. He did not serve us the breads (serving... More

Had a lovely meal out on the terrace last night. Food (mussels, risotto and chocolate tort) was divine. Great atmosphere and very reasonably priced.

Vancouver's West End never fails to surprise. Hidden away in the heart of the suburb is this little gem. We had a great meal there, the food was very fresh, well presented and tasty. The staff were really friendly and knowledgable and advised us on possible options. The setting is lovely, in summer, you must sit outside under the gazebo.... More

This relatively-new bistro has a challenging location but creative and delicious food. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. This is 'Italian with a twist', in a very delicious way. It is a bit of a walk but as others have said, well worth it. The patio is wonderful -- we caught great weather and enjoyed the air. They have... More

We went for lunch and reserved but waited for eight minutes before anyone showed up, yet the restaurant had but two tables of two clients at each table. Then we were asked if we were coupon holders or not and we said that we had a coupon at which time, a one page menu with few choices was given to... More

I am sorry you felt your experience was lacking. Restaurants do not "resort" to issuing Groupons. I would say that most restaurants do so to gain a wider audience. In our case, we recently opened for lunch and wished to create awareness. The menu you received was the exact same menu on our website when the Groupon was offered for... More
