Excellent food with attentive service.

We ate outside on the patio where the staff were helpful and attentive. I had the braised beef which was phenomenal - it fell apart when I touched it with my fork. Cauliflower and artichoke soup was great too. $6 martini's were perfect. Two drinks, two appy's and two mains, taxes and tips... read more

Charming Italian bistro within minutes of Stanley Park. We ate outside on the patio, which allowed us to enjoy the lovely evening air near Stanley Park. The service was friendly but not intrusive, and efficient. The menu was reminiscent of places that we enjoyed in Italy and accommodated our dietary needs (gluten-free for 2 of us, vegetarian for 1) -... More

I really wanted to like the place, and I really *do* like the place. The setting is gorgeous. The food is good, but it is expensive bordering on outrageous for Italian. The service is just fine, attentive but not intrusive. Our dinner (a party of six with the bill split three ways) came to CDN $120 (USD about $95) for... More

Great food. Great service. Lovely location. Lovely environment. I had one of the house specials, swordfish. Didn't look big when it came but I was surprisingly full. It was delicious. The server was awesome and so considerate and helpful I liked the decor and environment.

So refreshing to be served by people employed for their skills and passion , rather than looks (no offence!), no Cactus Club Clones here. Great food, excellent wine list and wonderful staff. This was our second visit and we weren't disappointed.

Our waiter was great but had too many tables to handle. We had an excellent meal and a beautiful Tuscan wine.

Excellent food and good atmosphere on the patio. Our waiter was very friendly and efficient without being overbearing. We were so grateful for not being asked constantly how the meal was or if we'd like another drink. The patio was very busy yet everything went smoothly. We'll definitely return.

Relaxing outdoor patio, tables well spaced. Linguine vongole was excellent, perfectly spiced and garlic'd with fresh plump clams. Slow cooked beef was a little disappointing, equal to what you might make at home in a crockpot, tender but not much flavour, but the accompaniments were very good. Decent and reasonably priced wine list. Very good service. Overall, would recommend it... More

It was a hot evening in July and we were a party of six with a reservation that had been made weeks in advance. We ate outside which is beautiful. Try and make it a point in good weather. The food was good not outstanding. The service was good considering the busy state of the night. It was a pleasant... More

Chose this for our one and only night in Vancouver and we were thrilled with it. Tucked away in a quiet street near Stanley Park. Owned and run by a couple from Ligouria for many years, which explains why they have an outdoor terrace (it was grandfathered in.) Reservations outside are only at 5:45 and 7:45 to meet the residents'... More
