Description: Adesso, in Italian means now, now as in modern, now as in today, now as in current. Our menu and our daily specials reflect today's trend towards healthy, local and seasonal organic foods. At Adesso Bistro we take a modern approach to the traditional cuisine of Italy's Ligurian region, a refreshing return to food made with love, tradition and soul. Our goal is to create an experience for our guests that will capture the essence of Adesso's unique regional cuisine. Our menu features such items as pizza Tartufo (black truffle fonduta, new potatoes, onions and house-made unsmoked bacon)and enticing entrees including braised Lamb Shanks served with artichokes and white beans, roasted Sablefish marinated in marsala, and Cornish Hen with chestnuts and black truffles. Pasta, from Tagliatelle to Pansotti, is complemented with a variety of tasty accompaniments, from Berkshire pork to wild mushrooms, fresh seafood to sage butter.

On a slow, cold January evening in Vancouver my wife, daughter and I were treated to one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. The food ( Pizza Funghi, Breasola as appys), squash ravioli, short ribs and bourrida as mains were excellent, excellent and just right for warming the heart and soul on a dreary night, outside. The... More

We had the travelzoo special. Anything good required extra payment. We enjoyed the $44 bottle of Kim Crawford Sauv Blanc. There is no street parking so you're forced to pay $7 for valet. Just make sure your keyless fob is returned before driving away! More

Came here for a travelzoo deal which I ordered everything according to the deal plus one dish, the restaurant charged me way over of what I should be paying and when I brought it to their attention they showed no apology and insisted of the overcharge. I basically paid closed to the full amount without the voucher. This is a... More

You bought a travel zoo voucher for $49 for a three course dinner for two but you arrived with three people. You ordered an appetizer and a pasta for your third person. Your bill was for one appetizer, one pasta and the tax on the entire original bill as required by law. You told me you liked the food and... More

We ate here last summer. We had a table outside and the ambiance is amazing. They have a great patio and it was a very relaxing evening. Service was not great and we found the menu somewhat limited. Food was okay but nothing really exceptional. We said that we probably would not return. They had a promotion through travelzoo offering... More

What a delight. This is a little gem tucked away on quiet Haro street in downtown Vancouver. Our server was charismatic and knowledgable about the menu and the wine list. The atmosphere is warm, romantic and inviting. The food was spectacular. I ordered the lobster tail with risotto. My company indulged in the elk and duck. The Kir royals were... More

Good food and warm welcome. Nice selection of wine by the glass. A little off the beaten track and some taxis can't find it but persevere for a great dining experience. More

I stayed at the Times Square Suites Hotel on the corner of Denman and Robson for four nights. Every night we went to a restaurant that was well reviewed on Tripadvisor and within walking distance from our accommodations. This warm and inviting little restaurant is about block into the residential area north of Denman Street. I made reservations on tripadvisor... More

WOW - What a find. Small and classy Italian restaurant hidden away near Stanley Park. Excellent kitchen with creativity and skill. Service was very good and food was great Northern Italian cuisine. High quality food stuffs and high level cooking. Small but thoughtful wine list and killer martini's. -- Watch out for the elegant lemon drop martini - it packs... More

We had a meal that will stand out in our memory for a long time. Everything was perfect. We can't wait to come back again when we visit Vancouver for Bard on the Beach this summer. Looking forward to trying out the patio. More
