Amazing experience

Absolutely love this place. The atmosphere is really wonderful, inside it is a little darker which makes it really cozy, great place for a date, but also to catch up with friends (you can actually hear each other there); outside they have a gorgeous patio, really lovely. Adesso Bistro at the west end of Haro is a small and charming restaurant run by professionals from kitchen to front door. The menu is not huge but every dish is prefect. We had the Burrida, seafood soup, a Bouillibaisse type dish, a duck Ragu and some other pasta dishes, all of which were very good. John Franco is a... More

We ate outside on the patio where the staff were helpful and attentive. I had the braised beef which was phenomenal - it fell apart when I touched it with my fork. Cauliflower and artichoke soup was great too. $6 martini's were perfect. Two drinks, two appy's and two mains, taxes and tips included - $ 100. You won't regret... More

Charming Italian bistro within minutes of Stanley Park. We ate outside on the patio, which allowed us to enjoy the lovely evening air near Stanley Park. The service was friendly but not intrusive, and efficient. The menu was reminiscent of places that we enjoyed in Italy and accommodated our dietary needs (gluten-free for 2 of us, vegetarian for 1) -... More

I really wanted to like the place, and I really *do* like the place. The setting is gorgeous. The food is good, but it is expensive bordering on outrageous for Italian. The service is just fine, attentive but not intrusive. Our dinner (a party of six with the bill split three ways) came to CDN $120 (USD about $95) for... More

Great food. Great service. Lovely location. Lovely environment. I had one of the house specials, swordfish. Didn't look big when it came but I was surprisingly full. It was delicious. The server was awesome and so considerate and helpful I liked the decor and environment.

So refreshing to be served by people employed for their skills and passion , rather than looks (no offence!), no Cactus Club Clones here. Great food, excellent wine list and wonderful staff. This was our second visit and we weren't disappointed.

Our waiter was great but had too many tables to handle. We had an excellent meal and a beautiful Tuscan wine.

Excellent food and good atmosphere on the patio. Our waiter was very friendly and efficient without being overbearing. We were so grateful for not being asked constantly how the meal was or if we'd like another drink. The patio was very busy yet everything went smoothly. We'll definitely return.

Relaxing outdoor patio, tables well spaced. Linguine vongole was excellent, perfectly spiced and garlic'd with fresh plump clams. Slow cooked beef was a little disappointing, equal to what you might make at home in a crockpot, tender but not much flavour, but the accompaniments were very good. Decent and reasonably priced wine list. Very good service. Overall, would recommend it... More
