Dining with a group of friends, everyone enjoyed their meal selections, dessert's & wine and wines. Our server made sure we were taken care of through the entire dinner and made great suggestions on the meals to be ordered.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here. We sat outside across from the Steam Clock (great location to watch the clock and tourists). The staff were very attentive but didn't rush us. The pasta was simply outstanding. The Caesar salad for two ($12) was excellent and could have served 3-4. The real plus to this restaurant is the location. Eating outdoors... More

My wife and I recently visited Vancouver to begin an Alaska cruise. While strolling in Gastown we decided to have lunch here. Great decision and a great start to our vacation. There a plenty of choices in the neighborhood and likely other good choices. The menu has a very local flavor, the ingredients are fresh, the preparations are visually appealing.... More

This restaurant understands that gluten free means food allergy not fad. The service is excellent. And the service and food staff make asking for gluten free choices a dining delight, not a chore having to explain wheat allergy. The staff is very accomodating and willing to prepare almost every dish on the menu with separate utensils to minimize cross contination.... More

Nice place to eat in historic Gastown (opposite steam clock), especially on a summers day. Staff friendly & patient (I am deaf so this is important to me). Food was excellent too. Highly recommended. :-)

We stopped by for lunch. Lovely cafe with a european feel. Great for people watching and enjoying a beautiful day. Fish and Chips were some of the best I've had. Fresh cod.

We had a great meal here after finishing a walking tour of Gas Town. A really interesting old building provided a lovely setting for excellent food with friendly and attentive service.

After a trek through Stanley Park and not feeling great but not wanting to waste our Saturday vacation night on mediocre food, we happened to stumble on to Water St. Cafe and luckily snagged the last two-top outside before the line got long. Wonderful location, terrific food. Both had pasta dishes (Spaghetti Aglio Olio and Spaghetti with Chicken and Sundried... More

We had a terrific dinner while people watching from the outdoor seating at Water St. cafe. They are directly across the street from the Gastown Steam Clock, so it was fun to watch and hear that "blow off steam" very 15 minutes. They have a lovely selection of wine. Their caper se salad was terrific, and the linguine with jumbo... More
