We were excited to try this restaurant and chose the combination dinners so we could try a little of each. For 17.95 my husband received 3 prawns, some small pieces of soul and some cabbage. Mine was some chewy beef curry which was tasty and 3 prawns and some chicken. A better value but not worth 17.95. My cocktail was... More

Lots of different ethnic choices can be confusing but they've got fast service and good food. I recommend the Sahar Kary!

Great satays ... but that's about it. My daughter and I ordered off the lunch menu. She had pineapple fried rice and I had the beef curry with ginger rice. Her pineapple rice was bland, so was my ginger rice. My beef curry came in a tiny bowl with about 5 small lumps of fatty, chewy beef brisket. The sauce... More

My opinion is the food is not bad but not great. Part of the reason is focus. Are they Malaysian, Thai, or Indonesian. The service is good. We had a beef curry and pad Thai.

We went to trpika last night for dinner thinking it was gonna be a malaysian/ south east asian restaurant. Now i havent been to malaysia but i have been to thailand and to other malaysian restaurants i was shocked at how gross and flavor less the food was. We had one dish that was $16 dollars and tasted like frozen... More

We went there for dinner and overall we are not impressed by the food. We ordered the combination menu as we wanted to sample few meals. I ordered Combination C: Rasa Sayang Seafood Bonanza and husband ordered Combination D: Daulat Tuanku Special. Nothing really stands out from what we ordered. It's not bad, but it didn't make us put this... More

Been here a few times now. First time was ok, but found the food less enjoyable with each visit. This evening hit rock bottom. The home style chicken was oily and slimey, and the green beans were truly vile. They were coated In a layer of grease and sprinkled with what looked like fried maggots! It made me gag. The... More

We had a number of dishes that we enjoyed immensely. Great favours that made each dish unique. We particularly liked the seafood coconut rice, satays, prana roti, beef rendang and desserts. Good recommendations from staff and attentiveness to our table. Kevin was our server. Will return there again when we are in town.

Tropika has always been good. Although I do miss the Aberdeen mall location. This place is always busy. And service is not always good. But the food is so delicious. I love the satays. Beef is the best between chicken and pork. The hainese chicken is good but some may not like cold chicken. And there isn't much meat. But... More

I went here yesterday for my birthday. There was alot of variety in there menu which I liked. I ended up trying ... satay sticks with peanut sauce. These are soo soo delicious and I highly recommend the lamb sewers! Seafood coconut fried rice. Nice presentation, it came in an actual coconut. However, I wish there was more coconut sauce.... More
