We hadn't been to Tropika in a while and decided to revisit for a family dinner. Consensus around the table was that there was nothing particularly tasty and that compared to previous visits going back a year or so, the quality had fallen off noticeably. The roti canai was still good but current iterations of the stir-fried radish cake and... More

I've been going to Tropika for more than a decade now. I love the location on Cambie St. but have also eaten on Robson. My favourite dishes are the Beef Rendang, KL Crab, Sambal Prawns, Eggplant, Green beans, and Coconut seafood rice. I love the flavours here. They don't shy away from fish sauce and fermented shrimp paste and all... More

The Work Team came here for one of my last days at the office and I ordered a Seafood Laksa (many thanks to Michelle for revealing the existence of a lunch special menu. Why did we have to ask for this? ). This came with a variety of goods (mussels, shrimp, scallops, fish balls, cod, and tofu) drenched in laksa broth amidst... More

This spot always has some interesting Asian food. It's funky, fun and well presented middle of the road style dining. Great for a relaxed dinner or lunch.

3 Ba Lobster is so spicy and delicious! This restaurant can always maintain its standard. Price is reasonable - 3 lbs lobster cost $86. Other dishes such as calm soup and Hoi Nam chicken are also very nice! Service is customer friendly, very flexible chef!

Ive read some of the other comments about the service, My experience was completely different, and I have been to this restaurant before on our last trip to Vancouver. The waiters were always there and ready to help you order. We ordered the K-L Crab which was messy but good, and our plates were traded for clean ones once the... More

This place was by far have the worst attitude and service from staff amongst all the Asian places I went to in Vancouver. They would come up to you and ask for more tip directly and show you the bill if you don't tip them at least 10% or more. The waiter here is greedy and rude. The owners should... More

We were excited to try this restaurant and chose the combination dinners so we could try a little of each. For 17.95 my husband received 3 prawns, some small pieces of soul and some cabbage. Mine was some chewy beef curry which was tasty and 3 prawns and some chicken. A better value but not worth 17.95. My cocktail was... More

Lots of different ethnic choices can be confusing but they've got fast service and good food. I recommend the Sahar Kary!
