What can be said that the other glowing reviews have not already stated? The sushi is just devine. I don't think I have ever had fish so fesh anywhere. If you go to Vancouver and enjoy sushi you must go to Tojo. I will definately return on my next stop to Vancouver. more

I was in Vancouver with a group of collegue from around Canada and we just enjoyed our dinner at TOJO's. We decided to take a lot of different sushis, tataki, sashimi... and share. It was delicious and so fresh that it melted... Everybody had a great dinner... it was however expensive ... more

Tojo does well, likely because the place gets celebrities every now and again - but it's a total rip off. We ordered the omakase menu, spent around 100 per person - and you don't get much at all. Omakase, at least in Japan, is where they make things for you, when you tell the chef what you like. Except at... more

Had the pleasure of having dinner at Tojo's 23 September. We opted for the chef's choice, mid price, and were simply "impressed"> it was fabulous. more

I eat Sushi, Sashimi, you name it. My wife and I enjoy Japanese cusine 4-5 times a month, at least. This place was good, but way, way, way over priced. I mean, come on. I'm not paying $25 for a Sushi roll...why would I? Yes, the food is good. But, why is this place priced only for the rich and... more

We usually try to avoid restaurants that are over hyped, but Tojo's lives up to it. The sushi is quite simply sublime. I'd go back in a heartbeat! more

I just visited Vancouver for the first time and love the atmosphere, natural beauty, and of course, the food. After hearing Anthony Bourdain rave about Tojo's on his Vancouver episode of No Reservations, I decided we would have to visit Tojo's while we were in Vancouver. I was not disappointed. Of course, the ingredients were fresh and the presentation was... more

Fifteen years ago, I would have given Tojo's 5 stars. In recent years, it seems that some dishes in the omakase have not been up to par. Still better than any place in Seattle. more
