Good place to bring out of town business guests... Service needs work...

I hosted a couple from Ontario recently. It was their first time in Vancouver, so I wanted to highlight a restaurant specializing in fish/seafood. They had wild sockeye for the first time (grilled) and they really saw the difference between wild sockeye and farmed Atlantic salmon. The atmosphere... read more

Ate here on a recommendation from the airport hotel. I wasn't overly impressed with the host service, they really didn't try to accommodate my request for seating with a view, but our waiter was excellent. The food was excellent and everyone at the table agreed this was a great place to go.

We had a nice meal here on a hot summer afternoon and it was a very pleasant experience. The service was a little slow, but the waiter was friendly and it was a Saturday so it was pretty busy. The food was quite good if not exceptional, but excellent value for what is a mid-price eatery. They do feature some... More

You really have to try and get a seat on the roof top - under the bridge - freaky! This is a nice experience - lots of great energy - the food however is typical tourist food but the view makes you forget that!

My friends and I still laugh about our terrible trip to the Sandbar. After waiting well over an hour for our food, and watching waiters bring food to groups that arrived well after us, we realized the waiter had forgotten to submit our order to the kitchen. After the staff realized their mistake, the manager came over to our table... More

Great restaurant, great service, great food, beautiful view of the waterfront. Ask to be seated on the third floor and outside if you can. We had the muscles for appetizers and the seafood tower for our main. Both were delicious. We highly recommend it. And just take the aqua us back to Vancouver.

This is a very popular spot on the beautiful Granville Island, and I can see why. The building has great indoor decor and atmosphere. The service was good and the food was yummy. For some reason I expected the food to be more "fine dining" but they were more down to earth meals. Nice ingredients you can tell the seafood... More

Took my dad here who was visiting us in Vancouver for mussels and fries, which were both good and a good deal with a pint of beer. My seared tuna was also good, but the coconut jasmine rice i ordered as a side was partly gloopy, partly hard. it would have been nice to have just a touch of greenery... More

We came here with our friends who made the reservations. We arrived early and we were seated inside in a nondescript area without knowing that we were supposed to ask to be seated outside on the patio when we arrived. However, these details were written in the book.cthe hostess neglected to mention this to us. The patio is first come... More
