We visited the Reef for brunch on a Sunday morning. This is our go to place in Vancouver every time we visit. It was not as busy this visit but the food was just as delicious as I remember. The Eggs Benedict, crab or salmon, are awesome and the Huevos Rancheros were also a hit at our table. We had... More

What a find! Picking a good restaurant in Vancouver is never hard, but this place is a must do! The Island Thyme chicken melts in your mouth, and the Maracas Bay Mahi is outstanding! These guys know what they are doing in Jamaican kitchen.

Great vibe in a neighbourhood that is becoming more trendy by the day. This restaurant serves good basic jamaican pub fair. The usual combination of jerk chicken, roti, fish and lots of rum. Cocktails are diluted but still a great accompaniant to the meal. Worth a stop over. Try the wings, the fish of the day and the roti. Make... More

So we were staying around here for a few days on vacation and walked past this restaurant every day. On our last day we decided to stop in as the menu was intriguing. The food here was unique and flavorful. Thought they would just do some spices and call it Caribbean food but they really have different flavors and unique... More

Went there tonight for dinner and was pleasantly surprised by how great this place is. Three of us split the appy sampler for two and it was more than enough, the jerk wings were incredible. I tried the chicken curry and it was great, enough spice to really give it a bit but also very tasty. Jen did a great... More

I just happened to be in the area, hungry around noon having passed up breakfast, and walked by the Reef. I was drawn in by the piped Carib. sounds, the happy chatter of diners, and the inviting if funky decor. After I ordered Quilaqiles from the server's suggestion, I looked at the description- One sunny side egg, pulled jerk chicken... More

Went here for the first time on a rainy spring evening. The decor is a it funky and eclectic with a lot of Caribbean elements. The pictures on the wall were from a local artist who featured African themes though - which just made the place seem even more funky. Very friendly staff and fast service. Menu petty authentic -...
