at the far edge of gastown old spaghetti is worth the wait to get a table. we had a large group (10) and waited about 20 minutes. once inside the wait staff was friendly, attentive and well organized. the menu is varied and all meals come with garlic bread, salad and spumoni for dessert. a kids menu was appreciated. our... The first time we went to this Spaghetti Factory was 25 years ago... hadn't been there since. The atomsphere is cool - like all the other Spaghetti Factories and so is the food. Great place to bring your family but definitely is not fine dining but they don't advertise that either. Right in the heart of Gastown. You can't go... More

If you wish to eat out at the Old Spaghetti Factory make sure that you don,t turn up with a ravenous appetite as you may have to wait for a table from anywhere up to 40 minutes. We were told 40 minutes but lucky to score a table for two in 15 minutes. Besides the wait the meal was great... More

Bluntly? Old Spaghetti Factory was NOT our first dinner choice. When another restaurant we were going to frequent was no longer in business, we defaulted here. For the money, it is terrific. The spaghetti was an ample portion, served piping hot, and tasted great. Also, having a salad or soup, bread, and dessert included creates a good meal for a... More

For appetizer the garlic bread was fresh, hot and very tasty. I tried here a Canadian beer and this was also tasty. The place is very nice with an old wagon in the middle.

We visited in the early afternoon, had a great table outside during a nice day in early June. My husband ordered the spicy spaghetti and meatballs, I had the potpourri spaghetti, both came with a salad. Everything was just ok, certainly nothing special. The worst thing was while we were eating something came crashing down onto the concrete next to... More

A prominent feature of the Gastown, this is obviously a very popular spot with people queuing for places. We enjoyed the food, and found the prices extremely reasonable.

My husband likes the spaghetti with brown butter so we went. I ordered the seafood Alfredo. The salad came quickly, but was just bagged quality salad, the food came before we finished our salad. My husband liked his, but my noodles were all stuck together and the sauce was thin. The manager replaced my pasta and the second dish was... More

What a fantastic place! The decor is beautiful -very art-deco! The staff were friendly even though being under a lot of stress due to the place being so busy and, I can see why. The food is excellent and so cheap! You get three courses as well as tea or coffee. Wish they had restaurants in England! Brilliant place!
