Party of 2 and we arrive 1 hour earlier than our actual reservation time at 9pm. No problem, we were kindly seated and we decided to order a bottle of wine and enjoy while we wait for the dinner to commence. We chose the 5-course pre-fix meal and everything was delicious! Compliments to chef, his staff as well as the... More

My husband and I had a wonderful time. The food was inspired, the live musicians had a sense of humour and a good time was had by all. We'll definitely keep this in mind for next year.

Our office group of about 50 people met, played games, ate and hung out for several hours. We rented one whole room and service was quick and all staff were definitely tuned into Christmas. It's not my decision but I've heard we're heading back for this year's Christmas Party. Access to the building was easy and it was a treat... More

Made reservations for our 3rd anniversary. The setting is lovely and the service soooo professional. Steak, fresh halibut and prawns ... perfect. The Earl Grey creme brulee ...., WOW!!!!!!!!! Only negative thing ... the downstairs washrooms are a bit ancient and not that nice

I had the opportunity to try this Vancouver restaurant and was excited to try the seafood risotto. Now I have had good risotto before, but this looked like Minute Rice that had been left way to long and was tasteless. It needed salt in a bad way and was in no way creamy. The risotto actually resembled a soup. When... More

We went to the Fish Hosue for a late lunch after touring the Aquarium. We sat a cozy table in front of the fire. We both ate from the 12 Days Of Christmas menu. I really enjoyed the lobster oil/balsmaic vinegar for dipping the bread. My friend had the seafood pie in puff pastry and I had halibut with roasted... More

At the Fish House, the chef offers us an appetizer of prawn, chorizo, and roasted red pepper, followed up by crab cakes for me and roasted red pepper bisque soup with watercress and prawn for my spouse. Next, we both select the three-fish medley of Arctic char, Ahi tuna and salmon. Of course, salmon is ubiquitous here, characteristically turning purple... More

The seafood it self was great but the service was awful and embarrassing. I was looking into something romantic and fancy but it was a bit casual in terms of their service.

I have nothing but good things to say about the fish house. From the minute we entered we were greeted and treated to excellent service. It was a birthday dinner for my wife and they went out of their way to leave a happy birthday welcome note at our table. It was suggested that we started the night with some... More
