This was a fun experience. The breakfast was amazing and had huge portions. Make sure to finish your food, though or you'll get a good roasting.

My partner and I are huge foodies, we love to try new places. my partners brother insisted we try out the Elbow Room, and to be prepared. We arrived at 10:30am, only had to wait 10 minutes before we were seated. Very cute! pretty close together table wise so make sure you're not claustrophobic! Our waitress came to take our... More

Patrick rules will crack you up, but he is such a character and so much fun. The food is great, portions are big. Worth the wait if there is one.

Go early to avoid the crowd. This place has mighty fine food with a very solid amount of selections. The hardcore atmosphere and quirkiness is wonderful. The jalepeno sourdough bread was phenomenal as well as the waiter.

The Elbow room is my "Must Visit" restaurant while in Vancouver for biz or pleasure. A college brought me here back in 1998 & I have been a loyal customer ever since. Patrick's Fun & Fabulous personality brings a smile to my face and ensures a GREAT day in this amazing city. The food is flavorful, unique and oh so... More

food wasnt too bad but expected a little more abuse (hehe) given ots reputation but maybe its because it was quiet... although that gives you more time to be rude i guess. Witnessed a couple of sparring comments but thats about it. Would go here for the novelty. Food isnt out of this world but pleasant enough and portion sizes... More

Kinda tripped over this place early this morning after arriving in Vancouver... The sign in the window said it was famous for its breakfast..... So the challenge was on!.... After a standard "bacon and two" I had to agree with the sign! Lots of photos of celebrities adorn the walls of this tiny establishment confirming that this place is well... More

Touted as one of the best breakfast places in Vancouver, I’d have to say as a visitor, it was awesome. Patrick, who with finesse, (and a few swear words) seated customers and took and delivered orders. There is a warning on the front of the menu and on a board above the kitchen that should be heeded. The atmosphere is... More

You'll either love it or hate it. Very much it's own place and does it's own thing. But if you like independent, quirky and eccentric places then you'll love it.

If you want coffee, here get it yourself. Insults from the staff are the spice of life, served up good, satisfying food for breakfast or lunch. Generous portions result in plates that do not get cleaned. That means a donation to the local food bank. This place has given more money to the food bank than anyone else in town.... More
