We the Boathouse Chain. Friends were in town and we wanted to take them somewhere special so we made a reservation for the five of us. We were sat at a lovely table. Sadly that is where things went down. After 15 min had to ask to order a drink. The rest of our party arrived and after 15 min... More

We enjoyed a table with a view (obstructed by Cactus Club across the road) but could still see the water. Sitting upstairs is probably the way to go to enjoy a better view of the ocean. We tried a variety of appetizers and while they were yummy most of them were deep fried. I do recommend the halibut bites and... More

We arrived at 8:30 straight after a long flight from Toronto and found this a nice place to make the transition to the west coast with a group of six. The view was certainly spectacular, overlooking the bay with what would have been a great sunset if it hadn't been so cloudy -- nevertheless the sparkling lights of the city... More

The restaurant certainty promotes its great outlook and rightly so! Friendly staff organised a table with a view and we enjoyed yummy food and a fine Canadian sav blanc. I had the salmon burger tasty solid food. Reasonably priced overall great experience helpful staff. Recommended

They first seated us in the bar at street level. No A/C, no view except cars passing by and noisy.. We asked to be seated upstairs and it was wonderful! Same menu but much better. A/C, view of English Bay at sunset, comfortable seating and quiet. We started with seafood chowder and firecracker shrimp. Then my husband had Halibut &... More

Go up the steps to the Deck. Great open air view of English Bay with lots of ships sailboats beach goers. We had the Halibut fish and chips with interesting pesto tartar sauce. A definite recommendation. Next to Stanley Park.

The best New York cut steak I have ever had. That cut is my favorite so I speak from extensive experience. We were there the night before the Honda Celebration of Light, but had no trouble getting a reservation. There were some VIP's (at least to the restaurant) at the table next to us but the wait person never once... More

Nice steak and seafood restaurant. We had the tenderloin filet and it was perfect. Good salads, and yes even burgers for the non seafood or steak lover. It is a little pricey. The burger was 15.00 and the steak was 32.00. We were staying at the airport Westin and it was within walking distance from the hotel. Also has a nice... More

This restaurant offers quiet romantic spots and upstairs, a nice place to eat and watch the sunsets. We had at the set menu there, which offered a choice of about four items in each course, and two desserts. The appies were great—West Coast Chowder was flavourful and full of seafood and the Chili Chicken crispy and bright. The meals were... More

Stopped in for drinks to watch the sun set- the views of the sunset are so good you have to wear sunglasses inside. Had great drinks and faced the sun- it was great. A bit pricey but worth it for the location.
