Came here for lunch with a group, found the music was loud making conversation a little tough, but our server was very good, attentive and very friendly, made everyone feel special. The food was very average though, I had fish tacos and they were very bland. Unfortunate as this is a great location, but it was just average pub fare.... More

We went for an early dinner and only had to wait 10 minutes for our table. The restaurant is very popular and crowded. The bar was hopping and all the tables were full. It was a little noisy but it was a good place to eat.Our server was attentive and got our food out quickly. My husband got the halibut... More

My wife and I ate here on one of our two nights in Vancouver (Sept 2014) after our Alaskan cruise before flying back to Las Vegas. I had a sampler of four beers (Pale Ale, pilsner, oatmeal stout, and pumpkin ale- all very good especially the stout and pumpkin). My wife had the lobster and pumpkin ravioli and I had... More

Was at a convention in Vancouver and one of the nights they had booked a room at Styeamworks for drinks and appetizers. A great variety of appetizers and the servers were around steady with trays. A standout was the mini burger, fresh and full of flavour. They may have negotiated a deal on drink costs as I thought the price... More

If you are looking for a brew pub here is the place, but the food is only average. Its always busy but they are far better places to eat near by. The staff are all very nice with a good knowledge of there beer.

Not the greatest of food but easy to get to and the service is very good. The restaurant is near Gastown and Canada Place.

We ate here during a recent visit to Vancouver. We were seated in the downstairs area which was fine for us. We had a lovely round table which is much easier for talking. The menu had a good choice range and seemed reasonably priced. We had no complaints about our food as 6 clean plates were returned to the kitchen!... More

I tried the seasonal pumpkin ale at Steamworks and it was great! I also had the seafood stew and it was very fresh and flavorful. It's also a great location right on the harbor and near Gastown

Went to this restaurant with high expectations based on other reviews and was very disappointed. They seated us at the entrance and there was a real draft (not in the beer sense). Great and convenient location, but the service was average and my fish entree was mediocre. I would visit Steamworks again for beer, but that's about it. Vancouver has... More
