Dry Ribs And Lamb Burgers....

...... And beer, of course. We have always found the service quick and courteous, the selection of beers very good and the food excellent. Some other reviews called the food mediocre and "standard pub fare," but I think it's a cut above. The dry ribs are meaty and succulent and the lamb burger is... read more

on a wet Sunday with time to kill before meeting family at the airport, we decided to head to Steamworks. We had a pitcher of ale that wasn't on the list so I can't say what it was but it was good. We then had the roast 1/2 chicken. Great sauce, mash potatoes and asparagus but I don't think 2... More

Stopped in for a beer and some dinner. Husband enjoyed the beers he tried. Menu is not super large but we had a pizza and burger and both were very good. Price was normal for this type of fare as well. We sat in the bar and enjoyed the atmosphere, it was very busy the night we tried it but... More

This is one of the best known micro brew pubs in Vancouver. I enjoyed the beer but found the food to be your typical pub fare.

Not bad but not exceptional. We got a table in the bowels of the building at the back which wasnt great. Standard high-turnover operation with burgers, steaks and beer. Slightly expensive. Big selection of beer but pretty impersonal. Dont book for a special occasion. Bill was $121CAD for a meal for three - starters, main & drink

While sight-seeing and in need of a beer, we stopped in and were pleasantly surprised! Staff was great and engaging, knowledgeable about their offerings and service and quick. Only there for a beer so can't comment on the food but it looked like those around us were having great time as well. Yes I would return, would like to have... More

This is not a bad place to go if you like large pub style places. It's huge!! Also, with that said, her are too many menu options which I think works against them - the food was mediocre.  What they lacked in food quality, they made up for in service!

A recommendation from our hotel for a decent meal. Not drinkers so didn't think this place was the most suitable for the family. Glad we gave it a go. The best GLUTEN free pizza we've tried. Waiter was very attentive to our allergy needs. The nachos were like a meal in themselves - sooo good. Apple pie was enough for... More

We visited Steamworks on the advice of a hotel employee. Glad we did. It's a great pub with good beer and excellent food. It gets pretty busy, and the seating is tight. Some of the tables are very close together. We sat a high-top table situated along a line of lower tables, so it's wasn't bad at all. I would... More
