Grabbed a few drinks here. I always love a brewpub and this place is no exception. I had two beers that where both well made. The atmosphere is warm with a great basement bar area next to the vats.

We went there for a drink after work, all the beers we had were great and the waitress was very helpful to select our choices.

I went to Steamworks for lunch on a recent Vancouver weekend getaway. The thing that Steamworks has going for it is the view and their beer. The building itself is a lovely old building with beautiful woodwork, but literally all the surfaces I touched felt sticky and dirty. We had good service and it was not too busy. The food... More

Location is close to the Convention Center and the Fairmont and Pan Pacific Hotels. This is our ’go to' place when we are staying downtown and want some good pub food and beer. Our last trip, i had the chowder (switched from the other soup at the waitresses's recommendation), and it was awesome. Probably the best I've ever had.

Loved the building although going to the washroom was an adventure. The menu was a bit underwhelming, but the service was fine. I had a fish taco dish which was pretty bland, but my co-worker ordered the burger and it was a winner. Neat atmosphere, average prices, trendy spot.

A local told me to visit Steamworks, but I did so on a busy night. A conference of crazy geologists was in town (I was one of them), and geologists love their beer, so they overwhelmed the brewpub on a Sunday night. We got there before the rush, so were seated pretty quickly. It did take a while for our... More

We arrived at Steamworks after a long flight from the UK we just wanted somewhere close to our hotel to get something to eat. We stumbled across Steamworks and glad we did. It's nothing overly fancy but what they offer is done well. The pulled beef brisket sandwich was a personal favourite. The selection of craft beers was also very... More

We went there for their pool table. We got there just before 10 pm and sat in the lounge and the server was rude, but the hostess was Fantastic. We wanted to move our table and our server was disgruntled by it all but the managers Darren and Ryan where awesome and helped us out. Once we moved downstairs service... More

Good food and beer; what more do you need. Not too cheap but you get what you pay for. The place has a nice feel and staff are nice.
