Great burgers and beer

The beer is cold and burgers are big. The place is surprisingly very large and we had a view across the harbour. The burgers are very filling and if you prefer salad then ask for the house salad over the Caesar. Not that the Caesar isn't good but the house is amazing. It comes with nuts and... read more

We were in Vancouver for 6 1/2 days and came here at least 5 times. Fantastic bar areas both upstairs and downstairs. Great locally produced craft beers from pilsner to stout. We would recommend the Ipanema White (My wife's favourite ever wheat beer) and the Empress IPA. If you are lucky enough and time your visit to late summer /... More

If you are downtown Vancouver you have to stop in at the SteamWorks; the views are wonderful, the atmosphere friendly and fun, and the food is terrific. This is one of my regular stops when I am in town for business and I have never been disappointed. Probably had some of the best pub food in years during our last... More

Went to Steamworks twice in two days while on a convention to Vancouver. My wife went the first time and had an excellent buffet. Enjoyable setting, attentive staff, and paid great attention despite the fact we were a large group. The next night we both went, as part of a group of 40. They were well set up to receive... More

Went here twice on our visit to Vancouver including our farewell night . Friendly service in a great location. Upstairs has much better atmosphere. We look forward to visiting again on our next trip!

We were looking for a good dinner spot and our coworkers from Vancouver recommended this place. It looked busy when we entered at 6:45pm but we were seated immediately. The menu has a lot of choice but once everyone decided on their items our drinks were delivered quickly and our food came quickly as well. I had the Bratwurst and... More

Went here twice during my stay, and enjoyed it both times. Tasty food that is fairly priced and great staff. Beautiful views in the back of the restaurant. The restaurant is pretty big and was busy both times. Definitely recommend!

Stopped by for dinner after walking around Gastown. I couldn't believe how huge this place is! We were seated right away and service was excellent. We had salmon stuffed mushroom caps and an italian flatbread which were both excellent. Loved it and will be going back!

Have visited Steamworks on two separate occasions- once for dessert, and another time for dinner. Both were excellent. Service is good, the atmosphere is incredible and always buzzing. Come here every chance I get!

I have had several business lunch meetings at this restaurant and have enjoyed both the service indoors and on the patio in the nice weather. Great food and location. Charmaine Hammond Team Toby's Paws Across Canada Tour
