The drinks that my group of friends ordered were good, I had a nice glass of sangria and we also ordered some food, like starters, burgers and fish soft tacos. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and craft beer. Just a fun place to sit and chill for a while.

My husband and I dropped in just to take a look at this place and asked the bartender about their Belgian beer. She kindly offered us a sample. The beer was excellent and we appreciated her offering the sample so we returned for dinner. The atmosphere is casual and fun and the servers are very friendly. We really enjoyed eating... More

Came here with a small group of friends. Enjoyed the apps (bigger portions, perfect for sharing) and beer flights. Some pretty tasty brews! Kind of a loud, rowdy atmosphere but that's what we expected, especially being near the kitchen and a massive party of people. Standard service.

Stopped by for a few drinks and to catch some sports on TV. Service was great and the appetizers were good and pretty decent size as well. Convenient location to meet up with people on their way in and out of the city. Two floors so always lots of place to sit - makes meeting up with people a bit... More

my guess is that this would be a great place to go for a drink after work with your buddies. the was your typical pub type food - chips, pizza, burgers. no complaints about the food. we ate here because we'd done Italian and Chinese and wanted something different. I'm sure that during the summer season this place is hopping... More

Dont get me wrong, this is a great place if u dont mind spending a little more. Easily paying over $30 per person if u order just one drink and one entre. Food wasnt exceptionally great, it taste just like expected. Just because it has nice decor doesnt mean one wanna pay so much more. But as stated in the... More

The amazing restaurant that I have ever been is located West Cordova Street, SteamWorks. There are two floors with a big spiral staircase which is really like a hotel, and going down stairs is a huge dining room for providing more guests to enjoy having the meals. I was having dinner at second floor. The lighting is bright enough for... More

We went there for lunch on a weekday, we only had the pretzel for food which was really good. The beer is for sure the highlight of the place, simply amazing! the quality and taste were incredible! The Kolsch was very nice and crispy, excellent flavour for a lager. We also had the stour and a coconut ale that were... More

Staying in Gastown

Neighborhood Profile
Gastown
A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's history a more lively presence here than anywhere else. Having been originally founded around a popular worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of Vancouver's best micro-breweries, creative cocktail joints, and corner bars can be found in this area. Classical charm suffuses its many vintage boutiques and the brick-built structures that an army of creative professionals call home.
