$14.50 for all you can eat in downtown Vancouver sounds like a great deal, however you get what you pay for. When we first arrived before lunch we were told there were no tables available, although there were plenty of vacant tables at the time. We agreed to sit at the bar as requested. While some people brought us food... More

Went to lunch with friends and the location is great for shopping. The korean bbq was delicious but if you are a lover of sushi...this is not the place. The fish was not fresh. We could not eat the tuna.

I can't tell you how nice it is to come back to this restaurant every time I am in Vancouver and get great food at a reasonable price. I am land locked and the sushi here is ... well... pretty much sad. I am always impressed by the service and the quality of the fish and the bbq is the... More

This restaurant is simple and fits well if you don't care about some details, like the presentation, the noise and the smoke that grabs your hair and your cloths. For CAD $14, one can eat everything you want, taking care about the waste. If you $2, it gives you the right for corean BBQ that is meat, pork or chicken.... More

when ever I get the chance I recommend we go for lunch at Shabusen. we try to make reservations, usually at the last minute and they try to fit us in. It is busy most days at lunch, food is very good. you get to pick off a check list and give it to the waiter. they prepare it and... More

THE GOOD: All you can eat Korean BBQ Nice variety very cheap THE NOT SO GOOD Limited sashimi Selection could be bigger You don't come to a place like this expecting the best sushi in the world, but you do come here when you want to nibble many different dishes at a price that is very good. I don't understand... More

I work close to Shabusen so we go there once and while for lunch. It is a sit down restaurant where you check off on a form what food you want and they service it to you freshly made. You can see the sushi chefs making the rolls and shusi. It is not on a buffet table sitting in the... More

Crowded, with rather poor service. The food is brought to the table raw to be cooked on a centre grill. The sushi is more rice than fish and the rice is just ok. Interesting place for a group that want quantity over quality.

Terrible service. Rude waiter. Place looked dirty. Supplier boxes in the dining area by our table. Huge group. No recommendations by the waiter. Overpriced. Quality of the food not at the level expected. Burners kept going off. Yeah just blah. Won't go there again. Group of 10, we all felt it was a rip off.

We did not reserve a table on a Sat night. We were seated after 40 min but its okay as we were seated at the boat table for 7 ppl. Really a busy place. We opted for the eat all you can order(cost 25+) but was disappointed that shrimp tempura is not part of it. Sushi/Sashimi, kitchen and bbq are... More
