A fun dining experience

Go when you are hungry. All you can eat sushi and japonese food was the big draw to my family and I and I can't say we were disappointed. The food is good, service is fairly fast and pleasent and the korean bbq at the table is super fun!

Parked in the lot at park royal in north van. Walked over the lions gate and through Stanley park downtown. (7.4 Kms). Popped in to shabu and ate. Loved it. Fast service and great food. Yummmmmmy. A must if you are in downtown Vancouver.

I ate there a long time ago at the new place it is horrible food and service. The Shabusen was wonderful but now is only on Burrard. So try that location.

Visiting Vancouver from Las Vegas before doing an Alaskan cruise. Wanted sushi and heard Vancouver is noted for good sushi restaurants. It may be, but this place isn't one of them. The title says it all. Very busy and large restaurant, but I would suggest any restaurant. Robson and Burrand and the downntown area have so many good restaurants, try... More

Absolutely terrible food here. We ordered the all you can eat BBQ, and were shocked when a bowl of very low grade looking raw chicken and beef, all mixed together, turned up at our table. We were supposed to cook these ourselves on the little grill, which was as hot as a candle. Extremely rude service as well, and far... More

When travelling thru Vancouver we always make a point to stop here for lunch or dinner. The food is fresh and delicious.

This was my first time at Shabusen....I highly recomend the experience! Loved it! We sat at the sushi bar...I loved having our own personal burner each to cook our food! The sushi, meat, and seafood were all fresh....and great tasting!!! Some people complain about it not being a 5 star in the area it's in....it has a lil' wear n'... More

Eat here EVERY time I come to Vancouver which is about 6 times a month! Food is ALWAYS fresh and the Sushi is like it was just pulled from the Ocean. Allan and Phyllius do a great job making it an enjoyable experience. I have taken dozens of friends to the restaurant and get nothing but rave reviews every time.....a... More

Once seated, service is pretty quick. This place is good if you can bring a big appetite since it is all you can eat. This place is also better for large groups. There are only a couple of tables that seat 2 people. In the past, we had to wait an hour for a table for two. The manager would... More

Love that you can cook your own food and the service is quick in getting your food to you as well as, when you come out of there, you don't come out smelling like "Eau de BBQ".
